I opened the door to ask and was told there were still two people in front of me. I asked if we could reschedule or do anything as I drove a long way on break from work. The reply was "no" and I was to "just wait." Other reviews show wait times of 2 hours. This is unacceptable unless there is an emergency. Short staffed and poor planning is not an emergency. I left without seeing the doctor or support. Not a great way to treat anyone. Disappointed the VA/VES partners with such a poor clinic.

In the process I learned that he keeps the entire $1,200 fee, which is paid in advance, if a patient cancels with less than 3 business days' notice. Now I understand that his time (like his patients' time) is valuable, and some people may not show up or cancel at the last minute. In such cases a reasonable cancellation fee may be appropriate, but to keep the entire $1,200 fee for doing nothing is disappointing and does not, in my opinion, reflect well on his character. In his new patient paperwork explaining this policy, there is no provision for returning all or a portion of those funds if a different patient can be scheduled for that time, nor is consideration given for emergencies. So, he could keep $1,200 fee and charge someone else another $1,200 for the same time slot, pocketing $2,400 for a 3-hour consultation. When I found out about this policy, I lost interest in seeing him and decided to look elsewhere for my healthcare needs.

I trust her and despite moves around the area have kept her as my primary physician despite a bit of a drive when it's time to see her because good docs can be hard to find. Her staff have always been professional and helpful--I have never had any complaints. This newer location for her practice is clean and modern with plenty of parking out front. I would recommend her to anyone seeking a new primary care doctor (if she is accepting new patients).

I don't know if I am doing this correctly, but I would honestly advise against using Sterling. I made an appointment months in advance because I was struggling with depression and wanted to pursue getting antidepressant medication in addition to diet, exercise, and therapy. I confirmed my appointment two days in advance, signed my forms digitally, and was glad about getting help for my condition. They responded to my confirmation with an additional message, so my confirmation was confirmed. Thirty minutes before my appointment, they let me know it had been cancelled. I called the office to ask why, and perhaps reschedule. I get it. Sometimes physicians get sick or have a family emergency. That would have been totally okay and I could have done the appointment another time. The receptionist pretty rudely informed me that my would-be psychiatrist quit a month ago, and that she was no longer with Sterling. I told her that was a bit confusing for me as the patient, because they still confirmed my appointment. She responded to this negatively as well, and when I asked about scheduling with another physician, she said that would be not likely or not possible because Sterling only has one psychiatrist and he is far too booked up. I really needed help with my depression, and I wish that Sterling hadn't given me what was basically a fake appointment. I also wish they weren't so rude when I was following up looking for care. If I had known my physician quit, or that the appointment wasn't happening, I could have gotten treatment somewhere else. Now, I am still in need of medical advice regarding my depression, but I'll likely have to wait a few more weeks to get advice somewhere else while my condition worsens. I can't speak for every physician or every patient experience, and I am sure that Sterling has some great physicians and patients with great experiences. However, my experience was pretty bad. HOW DARE THEY! Indeed, physicians do their retaliatory craft when they know a suspected patient presented under their care has posted something negative about them. This is when the true sabotage and retaliation is demonstrated. An objective assessment of Dr. Lanier needs to be presented to the public. His status as an emergency physician can be questioned by pointing out federally mandated reports revealing surreptitious payments by selective drug companies made to Dr. Lanier. It is of clinical urgency of the implications of what these payments to him mean. The federal reports instigated by an investigation proving that doctors who receive money from drugmakers related to a specific drug and prescribe that drug more heavily than doctors without such financial ties. It is unambiguously clear that Dr. Lanier has been fraudulently reported to Medicare that Kerecis Limited paid him more than $476 for food and beverage(s). Even patients that Dr. Lanier has diagnosed with no functional deficits have trouble figuring out how Dr. Lanier would get away by eluding this financial motive. Dr. Lanier HAS ONE HELL OF AN APPETITE THAT MAKES PEOPLE WITH MALNUTRITION IN THIRD-WORLD COUNTRIES LOOK GREEDY WHEN THEY ASK FOR FOOD. Obviously, this payment has been fraudulently reported, as the true nature of the payment reveals a cash kickback for Dr. Lanier in return for his increased implementation of Kerecis Omega3 compared to doctors who had not received financial compensation from that company. It also must be questioned if fraud is implicated in such payment disclosures. For example, in a payment to Dr. Lanier by Kerecis Limited disclosed by the government was recorded as paying for Dr. Lanier's food and beverage(s) in the amount of $476.62 on March 04, 2021. Even an incompetent person can deduce the red flags raised in this disclosure. Indeed, when further investigated, the truth reveals that Dr. Lanier's secret cash payment was directly associated with more frequent and increased usage of Kerecis Omega3, developed by Kerecis. It is ambiguously listed as a "device." He received a cash kickback from Kerecis Limited in return for using Kerecis Limited's device more frequently than doctors who had no financial ties to the manufacturer. This is compatible with Medicare fraud. To demonstrate Dr. Lanier's serious legal situation, I have accommodated him as a courtesy to show past/current/future patients proof of fraud and advising people to avoid this physician, especially if they have plans of admitting themselves at Sumner Regional Emergency Center in Gallatin, TN. Look at the picture. Voila!!! Physician corruption is at its best. My next door neighbor is a Vanderbilt doctor and he told me that Dr. Womack's reputation precedes itself. When a doctor is revered by patient and colleague alike, you know you have a great one. I trust him implicitly and feel very fortunate that he's my doctor. With stress that comes at you from every side, it's nice to feel confident that when you are at a time of greatest need, you have all the best support in the world. Dr. Womack is as good as it gets.
