They play some nice and calm music which creates a comfy and cozy atmosphere. The barista who took my order answered all my questions and I enjoyed my iced americano with sugar free vanilla cold foam and it was definitely high quality espresso beans used to make it. I also shared the almond croissant which was delicious and flakey with the right amount of sweetness. My friend got a bagel sandwich which looked filling and delicious! We noticed lots of people coming into do some work and enjoy coffee time with family and friends. Next time I come I will definitely try the matcha and they offer several season flavors and drinks. The cortado was really smooth and not just straight up milk flavor. The iced latte tho was not great, I couldn't taste any of the coffee and it was pretty muted. The staff was pretty chill and looked happy working there but I couldn't help but think the atmosphere was a little dark and too moody for me, but it works for an urban setting like downtown for sure. Wouldn't be my first spot but if someone really wanted it I'd be good to get a cortado again.

The staff were absolutely wonderful via phone and email addressing my questions and concerns. Upon arrival I was astonished at how cute this place was. The outside hostess directed me to the inside host. I immediately saw some of my guest at a lovely long table set up in the back center. Our attentive waiter came over to bring us menus. Unfortunately most of my guests got caught up in the torrential downpour and were running behind. The waiter assured me that we were quite alright to wait if we preferred. I decided to start with a cocktail. The testa Rossa was recommended. I ended up giving it to my husband as it was rather strong and I did not taste watermelon nor coconut. I went with the second recommendation of the strawberry bliss. Another strong drink which the gin overpowered the other flavors. I may skip the cocktails if I come back as I did not fancy either of the ones I tasted. I tried some of Lisa's sunflower seed toast which came with the cutest set up of butter and delicious apricot and strawberry jam.
