Came here after dinner for a lovely stroll along the beach. The view is simply breathtaking especially at night because of the sunset reflecting on the ocean. Pretty romantic spot for all ages and a lot of things happening on the beach where people set up tents, BBQs, or just lounging around. The beach needs to really maintain the bathroom because the walkway to the bathroom had poop and also on the bathroom floor which makes me nausea.

Lovely family friendly beach. Nice wooden playground with tire swings, monkey bars and plenty of good hide and seek spots. Great place to find buried treasure in the sand or throw rocks into the sea.

Coming back from a walk along the water. Approaching Getty on the left and sand soon.

I will never get tired of this place. Yes, it's the long island sound, but I love this beach as I've grown up in the area for every other reason that the ice cold water and rocky sand. I bring everyone from out of town here and they love it. Even if it's picking up sandwiches and bringing them here to eat and then walking the getty. First of all, this beach always had the coolest playground. They rebuilt it since I was a kid but it's still a very special unique and crazy awesome playground. There are basketball courts baseball field and half pipes also. Very family friendly. The concession stand, Joeys, has upped their game with dinner and lunch foods! Snacks and ice creams. And the pavilion is right next door offering shade and a breeze. If you continue down that way there are canons on the corner. We loved to climb up them as kids and have photos sitting on them. Turn right and you'll see tons of picnics benches and grills. My family loves having dinner at compo in the summer, get the before 5 on Angeles night to get a spot and good luck on the weekends. Past there are the boats which are fun to walk through and look at. All the way at the other end of the beach is where I love to go on walks and you'll pass many jobbers bikers and moms with strollers in the morning. It's a beautiful walk that I usually end when I hit El Viras and get myself an iced coffee or breakfast wrap. Tips: you can bring alc and drinks but no glass. Go before 5 if you want a picnick table. Daily parking rates available if you don't hAve a pass.

Best beach in Fairfield County by far, especially when it comes to amenities. Food stand, children's playground, marina, skate park, pavillions, boat launch, soccer and baseball fields, as well as basketball. Beach speaks for itself, just can't take a bad photo.

This is a great beach for the area. You don't have to live in Westport to come. However, it does cost money. It is worth the price.

Rocky beach and no waves because it's on the bay. Parking is $22 for non residents. Wish the water was clearer but it's natural. Brought water shoes but didn't really need them if you're careful. They have an East beach and West beach within park. West allows bbqs, larger fields and nice views. East beach is more like a beach due to lifeguard staff. Nature center located on east beach as well. My photos are from west beach only.

I arrived at 11ish, paid $22 (non-Connecticut residents have to pay) and found parking immediately. Around 12:30 the parking lots were at capacity and closed. I love how there's so much to do at the park. You can grill, go to the beach, go for a walk and even ride your bike. It's a great time. The beach is small and full of rocks and pebbles. The water was freezing even in the hot weather. The walk towards the water is even worse. There's rocks everywhere you step and can be extremely painful. My sister and I both cut our feet trying to get in and out of the water so I HIGHLY recommend getting some water shoes! My favorite parking lot is the west side only because there's a bathhouse where you can change, use the bathroom and take a shower. Highly recommend to come here for a fun beach day or picnic or grilling. Love love this place!

For a lighthouse lover like myself-Jackpot! The stroll is flat and easy (think the total length is 1/2 mile) and you can stop along the way to read some of the area history and also what types of fish swim nearby. I go here often to walk and appreciate nature and quiet, or to sit and watch the boats, the sunset, or the fishermen and women. It's a great spot to be outdoors and relieve stress or contemplate the meaning of life. There are a few picnic tables and benches. The whole area is always very clean. Parking is free for Bridgeport residents in season with a sticker, but I have never gotten a sticker and never had any issues. Keep it quiet and clean and keep your dogs on a leash , please, as this is a true oasis and you will be stunned it is actually in Bridgeport!
