I've been to many spa places for facials and this is still by far the best. Their prices went up this year, but still worth it. I like their microdermabrasion facial. Facials feel like deep clean face washes at other places, but this place, I feel like my old layer of skin comes off. If only they had a mini microderm facial that is cheaper and quicker, then I'd go all the time. read more

I have to admit, I was a little apprehensive about going to Complexions RX, as a guy, I felt a little weird. Had a great experience at Complexions Rx! Everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable. The environment is very low key calm. When I first arrived Catherine greeted me warmly at the door and offered me something to drink. I received a threading and microdermabrasion from Emily; my skin and eyebrows look great! She was knowledgable about the products and had some great tips on skin maintenance. I received my first Botox treatment from Rebecka. I was extremely nervous, but she calmly explained the process and eased my nerves. The injections were quick and painless. Incredible service! I initially came to Complexion RX about 6 months ago desperate for some kind of laser treatment to fix my scars or my acne or ANYTHING for some kind of improvement. Essentially I have had chronic acne since the 4th grade. I am 23 and have been through antibiotics, accutane, birth control, and several estheticians and dermatologists. NP Jane referred me to the esthetician, Emily, who has 100% made a complete turnaround for my skin. After an acne facial, a few microdermabrasions, convincing me to do the VI Peel, and really cracking down on my skin care regimen at home, I know that Emily is just as excited about the results as I am. She even follows through with the treatments by checking in on me while I'm home to make sure the peels are going well (and to make sure I'm not picking my skin lol). Our next goal is to wean my skin off of birth control pills! I trust her completely and am looking forward to coming to Complexion RX for a long time!! read more

Jade at Complexions Rx is wonderful. I look 15 years younger. And it looks so natural. Not painful at all. Jade is very professional, experienced and so nice. She explains everything. I was afraid to have Botox and fillers and then I saw my sister's results from her doctor In San Francisco (who was on Oprah board certified in derm and internal med.) I went to my sister's doctor but the distance was unworkable. So I tried Jade and she was every bit as good (actually a little better, and not so hyper- expensive!) I have gone to Jade for a year now and cannot be happier. She is so ethical, once, when my sister was visiting, she asked for an expensive treatment not recommended in her case by there medical director and Jade explained to her why. We were so grateful. I had an under eye filler half a year ago. The experience left a negative mark compelling me to finally write a review. Not only did I see no noticeable difference I also have a a strange ridge under one of my eyes and a discoloration where a vessel was knicked during the procedure. I went in the next week to speak with Jane regarding these concerns and had the conversation dominated by her. There was no listening to what I had to say only placating me by using a laser to zap the discoloration caused by the procedure. All the while acting as if I was getting a huge gift. When mentioning that the filler caused no noticeable improvement she stated now remember I told you I do "baby steps". I was as assertive as I could of been without being aggressive. The outcome was disconcerting from the results of the procedure (discoloration and newly formed ridge) to the way I was "handled" when I had concerns. There is no agenda in writing this. Reviews for me are a way to give an honest testimony to my experience. I don't bash businesses because I had a bad day or have a personal vendetta. I feel if you chose to be in the customer service industry step one is to listen to your client. read more

Kristy Dueck RN does the very best Botox around. She is extremely thorough, very gentle and best of all does not ever want anyone to look unnatural. She always calls 2 weeks after I see her to be certain that I am happy with my results. Being a registered nurse myself with a little bit of OCD, I can tell everyone with full confidence that she is the one to see. She also does fillers (have wanted to try but not quite ready!!) and chemical peels/laser treatments. Parking is free and next to the building which is major for a downtown location. Not to mention, the facials here are amazing. And, Complexions Rx stands behind all of the products that they sell...if you aren't satisfied or have a problem they do everything possible to accommodate you. Love this place!! I hope that anyone who is dealing with acne comes across this post and knows there is hope out there for you. Dealing with acne throughout my teenage years messed with my self esteem. I have seen a handful of dermatologists, and been put on several oral medications (antibiotics,birth control pills and even accutane). Nothing worked for me and, in fact, my acne became more severe each time. Emily, I can truly say, has been my saving grace. I've never met another esthetician who is as passionate, kind and knowledgeable as she is. Not only do I feel so comfortable during each facial but she's been the FIRST person to genuinely care about my health and offer natural alternatives such as supplements (zinc, probiotics, fish oil) and even suggest a dietary change. I look forward to seeing Emily every time. She has transformed the texture of my skin and has seen my skin clear up little by little. This is the most progress I've seen and the best service I have received from anyone. Emily knows what she's doing and will never sell you on a product without making sure you first go home with samples. She cares about her clients and deserves nothing less than 5 stars. wanted a consultation for a peel. there was a $50 consultation charge which would be applied to the procedure should I decide to do it. the consultation was not thorough, as I was put in a dimly lit room (nice room for a procedure, not a consult). The esthetician was very sweet and kind and eager to do the peel. very reassuring that it would be great, I would love it, etc. however, never even examined my skin. I decided to buy the package for 2 peels based on her recommendation. I was less than pleased when the front desk person told me a different price than what was quoted on the phone. they wouldn't honor that price. I think that is horrible customer service. I was unfortunately unhappy with the peel results and was hoping for some feedback, maybe another consult or other recommendations, but I really wasn't given any. asked for the remainder of the money refunded to me which was honored but I had to wait 2 weeks and then call to see why it hadn't been processed yet. overall, not impressed with the front desk and the way things were handled. read more
