Replying to the feedback from my review I posted Wednesday. Dean emailed me back within a day on…read morethe first email. I emailed him and got nothing for 48 hours. since it was a Friday I called the agency. I asked why I hadn't received any response and that is when he was quite condescending while we were talking about my trip. (this was after he told me I hadn't given him enough details so that's why I hadn't heard from him) I told him in my email that I had never done this before and I would need a lot of guidance. Then he did give me some choices and we emailed a few times. my last email I sent I did give him dates that would work and what else I was wanting and told him I would be sending our information in the mail. I sent our information out and a note with it asking what else did he need? what were our next steps. I never got a response. 2 weeks after my last email I posted my initial review. I hadn't heard from him in 2 weeks. He called me within 5 minutes of me posting. Asked me if I was still interested in the trip. I said no because I switched agencies. He then asked ME when he received our information I sent. I saId you should have gotten it at least a week ago. He then said it must have been overlooked. And by the way, I sent the information for both of us traveling. The statement that I didn't is untrue. the fact that you are trying to put a bad experience with your travel agency on me, the customer, is ridiculous. I have been honest about my experience, or lack of really, and instead of trying to turn it around on me, you should look at how to not let it happen again to someone else.

I have never felt so ignored by a company in my entire life. If you are booking a destination I would recommend a different travel agent or just book it yourself. Dan was very difficult to get a hold of, and we were not the most demanding bride and groom. Every single time we tried to contact him ( whether to ask a question, or just pay him money for our trip) We would have to call back multiple times. Our guests also had a hard time contacting him. If you are a fan of a very frustrating game of phone tag then go with Dan Bunkers! We were given every excuse about why he hadn't returned our calls or emails..I really hate being lied to. It's not like we had a large group either, we had 14 people. I figured we were paying him thousands of dollars for a destination wedding...the least he could do is call us back.

I reserved a truck online to pick up at 5 pm for their Ankeny, Iowa location. The day of, Budget…read moreTruck informed me that I must go to a different location, 10 miles out of the way, and they would not waive the extra mileage that would count against my trip. I arrived at the new location in Des Moines at 4:55, 5 minutes prior to my pick-up time. Upon arrival, no one was there to help me. I tried calling their location's number and Budget Trucks' main help number, and I received no answer for 15 minutes. Once I was finally able to get on the phone with someone, they informed me that I would not be able to get a moving truck for a couple of hours and that I would have to drive to an even further location (that would still count against my mileage). I was forced to find another moving truck (which was basically impossible) for the next day. All in all, we canceled the reservation, but I would never go to this place again.

Budget was the only company to have a truck available for our move when we needed a second truck…read more Customer service was lacking from the location in Omaha Nebraska where we rented it but we were super desperate for a truck. And so greatful to get our possession here. Their prices are so much higher than other companies such as Uhaul, but we were in desperate need of a moving truck. The truck was nice, it didn't break down like our Uhaul. It had a very roomy back. Even though the deck was higher it was easy to load and unload with the ramp. We dropped the truck off there was a bit of paperwork to fill out in the after hours drop box. Which was convenient.

Initially it seemed like we were getting a good deal and taking stress of our honeymoon travels-…read morebut then at every turn we had issues. First, Taylor had given us two cruise options and we picked one, and she booked the other. This maxed out my travel card that we had planned to use and build up points, so we were forced to choose another card without the rewards. We then found when we returned from the cruise that the hotel she booked for the night before our flight home was 30 minutes from the airport, despite there being numerous hotels near the airport. In Lyft rides alone she cost us extra $100+, and we lost money in potential travel rewards. Not great to spend our honeymoon stressed about extra travel expenses
