Chief of Staff disappointed me twice and I will not work with them again. I hired them for two holiday parties (2017 and 2018). The first party was disappointing (one great server, one novice who was clearly inexperienced and not particularly ambitious). I decided to give it a shot a year later and asked for the same server (knowing it wasn't guaranteed). Instead, I got two bad servers. One arrived late, took multiple personal phone calls, and didn't demonstrate the kind of proactive event support I am accustomed to. When I asked her to cut dessert bars and place on a decorative plate, I was stunned to see she mounded a large messy pile on a serving tray. I asked her to place salmon and capers on a tray and she had no idea how to do that. There was a messy slab of salmon piled up on a tray. She did not appear to have any training or work ethic. The other was extremely passive and not particularly helpful. I complained to COS and made it clear that I do not plan to work with them again. I was disappointed in their response.

This was years ago though when I had a single, dedicated recruiter that truly felt like they had my back, cared about how I was doing, would keep me in mind, and check-in routinely. Now, they have a "team" to help you, which just means there's more people to ignore you. I've definitely given up on the company and would advise anyone seeking staffing services to try literally anywhere else. I suspect the reason for decline at the company is that there are far too many job seekers on the market right now, recruiters aren't getting paid enough to actually care, RH might be trying to cut costs and not have enough people to help job seekers, and the opportunities on the market are limited.
