Brady contacted me within 5-10 minutes and agreed to meet me as early as I needed this am. We communicated about the issue and he agreed to be here at 730 am, coming from Garland. He was here, analyzed the problem, explained it to me and gave me an accurate quote on the part I would need and the labor charge, all for $20 as advertised. He told me that he could have the repair done today. I, too, am in the service industry as a Realtor. I will utilize his services EVERY time I need help with any repair services he offers.

THIS GUY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY AND CAUSE YOU SO MUCH STRESS. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS GUY…read more We live in Texas and we needed a new AC unit quickly as it was 112 heat index. A family member used him years back and said he was pretty good so we wanted to give him a chance. Brady gave us a really good price on a new unit over the phone and promised to get it installed within a week. We paid him upfront for all his services totalling $3,900. We paid him outright on that Friday afternoon and he said he would be in town to deliver and install the unit the following Wednesday. We were so relieved as we had no AC and we have 2 kids at home in the heat of the summer. We needed relief quickly. Well, the following Wednesday rolled around and we had not heard anything from him. After multiple attempts to find out when he was coming and what time he would arrive, he finally got back to us via text and said he read the invoice date wrong and the pickup date for our unit was 2 days later. Well, 2 days later rolls around and again, unresponsive. We had no idea what time he was coming or if he was coming at all. He finally shows up at my house a whole WEEK later at 2pm and brings in the unit. After he installed the unit, within 24 hours, it was not blowing correctly. My husband tried calling him but couldnt reach him so he had to read the manual because Brady had not adjusted the fan speed correctly. The coils have also frozen over 3 times and this is supposed to be a brand new unit??? To top it all off - he "forgot" to order the heating element for the machine, so we have no heating element for our house. He promised he would be back a few weeks later to install it and never came. He has used excuse after excuse saying he ordered it, the part is still not there, yada yada yada. He also over charged us for it and promised to give us refund upon install - and ofcourse never came, so we are out of money. This guy will steal your money, make promises to you, and completely ghost you along the way. I have no idea how this person is in business. He only responds via text and thats if you get a response. He will drag you along for weeks and weeks saying he is coming to help you and he is a liar. His license needs to be revoked immediately.

Now, fast forward to 2 days ago. I called on a Saturday afternoon after I noted my compressor freezing up. We discovered in April that we had a small leak that was barely reading on a sniffer unit. I expected the technician to come fill up the freon, charge us for that and an hour of labor. He shows up, instantly starts pressuring us to replace our entire unit( estimates from 8.8k to 17k for a 2100sqft house) and after looking around, hits us with a 403.00 bill. Now we have a monthly service package that supposedly removes the "service call" charge from the bill. We were charged 148.00 for freon at 78.00 per pound and the rest was "tech fees".....260.00 per hour, folks.....all paid before work was even done. 24 hours later, my compressor is frozen up again but they showed no evidence of a leak. As soon as I point it out, they start again with trying to sell me a whole unit. Nothing suspicious here at all. We wont be using them again.

They charge fairly normal for the FIRST hour $120 (Feb 2012), along with parts charges and even an additional fuel surcharge. But they charge the SAME rate for every hour after the first hour ($120 for any hour) rather than charging a normal, average charge for the subsequent hours. So the $120 is far and above any national, average hourly rate for licensed plumbing after the first hour. Even after a request for a review of the price, they insisted that this was their normal hourly rate, for any hour And your bill will not itemize the charges. You have to ask for an itemized bill, which you will get.
