I worked with Bryce, who was incredibly attentive and tailored my therapy sessions around my vacation schedules. When I first started, I experienced significant pain after being active for just a few hours, which often left me sidelined for days. Thanks to Bryce's expertise and personalized approach, I'm thrilled to say that my hip is now much stronger, and I'm completely pain-free. The staff at Peak Physical Therapy truly care about their patients' well-being. If you're dealing with similar issues, this is the place to go!

But I've also been able to receive hundreds of acupuncture treatments from her in our years together, and I can attest to her skill as an acupuncturist and as a healer. She has helped me out of debilitating headaches more times than I care to recall, and with other problems I've had over the years. But I've also been witness to how skilled she is working with patients in the community clinic setting where she worked back in California, and now here in Lincoln, and what an asset community-style acupuncture is to a community. Especially I feel how healing work in a shared space (with other patients) helps break through the sense of isolation a person can so easily feel when they are injured, in pain, or sick or a long time. I love the way the Lincoln Acupuncture Project space turned out and it feels very peaceful being there, getting treatments alongside others.

It's a relaxing place to go, and I appreciated the description of a "community reservoir of calm." It is awesome to be with other people while taking time for yourself. I appreciate this place for making it simple to access a thousands-of-years-old healing practice that modern science has proven effective for various symptoms. Now that I know this place exists, it's going to be my go-to provider for a lot of those little health concerns that pop up, especially the ones that are probably too vague for a regular MD / drug-based therapy to successfully address. The needles are no big deal. They're extremely thin and not painful or so slight initially that you won't care. You are in charge of your treatment, so you can just try one needle and see what it's like, and you can ask any time to have any or all of them taken out. Also there's no blood, so put your mind at ease about that! Scheduling is ridiculously easy on the website. There's no pressure to come back often. Don't forget cash or check, and you might want earphones to listen to music. Your first treatment might be 20-30 minutes, plus all the time you need to talk through your symptoms. I could have taken notes for the self-massage techniques and vitamins she mentioned, which were also super helpful.

She has great bedside manner and it's evident that she makes an effort to familiarize herself with the patient on a personal level (she has on record what I'm studying and how many years I have left, etc.). The only negative I have to say is that my appointments generally last at least an hour. Or rather, my time in the office does. They're quick to move you from the waiting room to a private room but the time between the nurse taking your stats and seeing the Dr. can be quite awhile. Although I think this is probably attributed to the excellent and thorough patient care so I don't mind. I would (and DO) highly recommend Dr. Lovegrove.

I am not one of those people who thinks it's ok to have telephone conversations in the vicinity of others, intruding on their personal space as well as the inability for me to have a semi (at least) private conversation. The brown haired lady in the store came rushing out and in a loud voice asked what i was doing. I meant no intrusion on anybody and rather this was my attempt to circumvent intruding on others. I was talking on the telephone when she did this. I stepped out of the room and walked down the hall, still trying to keep out of other people's way and to hold at least a very brief urgent call. The lady went into the room I had been in, seemingly checked it out to see if anything was amiss in there, then came out loudly closing the door - as if I were a vagrant trying to trespass or something. Whew. I would have gone outside, but it was very windy, and the caller could not hear me over the wind. I won't be going in here anymore, that is for sure.
