I purchased my vinyl fence from Complete Custom Fence on March 5, 2020, and it was installed by Tony on March 24-25, 2020. A mere 6 days after installation, on March 31, one whole panel of slats on the East side of the fence fell to the ground. It took one week for Tony to return to rebuild that pane. Six days later, the same entire panel of slats was on the ground again and was repaired by Tony. On April 24, that panel was down for the third time. I told Tony that if he kept doing the same thing, he would keep getting the same results. He did a more thorough study of the problem and then realized his problem. There is a slight uphill ridge across the back yard toward the back, and adjust to the slant, he had to snap off some kind of connecting attachments inside the top crossbar to enable the fence panels to slant. He had removed too much of the inner attachments to allow for the incline, allowing too much space, and the slats were able to pop out. He anchored each slat in that panel with a strong rivet, which so far has remained fixed.
However, on August 21, 2020, 5 months later, a panel on the West side of the fence fell. This panel is on the same uphill ridge and parallel to the problem panel we had in April on the East side of the fence. I spoke to Shelby at Complete Custom Fence that day, August 21, and sent her 3 photos of the broken fence. I waited to hear back during the following week, and finally contacted Shelby again for an update. She said she would let me know when my fence would be on schedule. Trying to be patient, I waited another week, then emailed both Shelby and the owner Garrett Davis for an update. It has now been 3 weeks and I have never heard a word. My fence remains broken. During each of these panel mishaps, there were no storms or nasty weather. The Complete Custom Fence Company is proud of their limited lifetime warranty. It sounds great as long as nothing goes wrong with your fence. read more
