Club de Fútbol Fraigcomar is a local soccer club with lots of history, both in PR and for me…read morepersonally. According to them, they are the biggest soccer club in the Caribbean. I'll take their word for it; they are very popular. They have a Baby Soccer program for kids 3-5, plus boys and girls categories for kids 6-17. They also have a summer camp, which I worked at as a coach one year when I was in high school. The club has good instructors and does a good job developing players. There are two fields. The small field, where the main offices are and where the younger kids play, is at 1694 Calle San Cosme, and the big field, where the older kids play, is at 1654 Calle Tulipán. The big field is also where the Soccer Dads league is played. I'm not sure if they have a Soccer Moms league. The big field is also open to all. My brother plays for the PR Medical Football Team, and that is where they practice. You can also sometimes find people playing pick up games. Parking for the big field is shared with the basketball courts. I grew up playing at this club. I even got to represent the club in various age groups. We played several local tournaments against clubs from all around San Juan and the island. Once we played an invitational with teams such a Universidad Católica de Chile youth team and a Real Madrid youth tram. In 1993 I got to travel to Venezuela with the club to play a tournament in Caracas. To this day, the club traveled to places like Spain, Italy, Costa Rica, Argentina, and USA to play. Excellent for development. I made lots of friends, some of which I am still friends with. We sometimes still play together. This year, my wife and I signed our son up for Baby Soccer. Hopefully, he will stick with it. If he does, I would like him to continue here. This is a great club for kids to develop their skills, travel, and make friends, some of which will last a lifetime.

My niece started at Torrimar's Baby Soccer program. I went to a practice to see if my son liked it…read more He did, however, that day was the girls practice. The boys practiced on the same day that takes his swimming lessons. We had to look elsewhere. My husband suggested Fraigcomar. He used to play here when he was a kid. We checked their Facebook page and learned they had just started a new season of Baby Soccer. I took him to a practice and he liked it. The fee was affordable so we signed him up. Fraigcomar is a nice place. The small field, where the younger kids play, is well maintained. It is also safe. The entire premises is fenced to keep young kids from running into the street. Outside the fields they have playgrounds. The playgrounds are within the fenced area. So it is safe and fun for the kids. The instructors are very nice and great with the children. I have been meeting some of the other parents and they too are nice. I could easily see us sticking with this club for a long time.
