Having a dispensary such as this one at a convenient location, is better than having none at all. That said, this place has some deficits when compared to others, although by no means is it awful. Usually, the people working there are stoned, and you might have to repeat a question two or three times. Even then you may not get the correct answer...with a small inventory, a lot of ambiguity about what's in stock. The owner Julia seems to be the only adult in the room, the kids have the bearing and tempo of an average skateboard shop, not a cannibis dispensary. I was at the superior shop in Hopland yesterday, a product that i paid 19$ for there was 55$ dollars at compassionate heart (low dose cinnamon mints). I don't know what R.M. has been smoking (I suspect the competitor's product?) but his head is all gunked up! This is a great dispensary! Very high-grade medicine, effective edibles and great people to boot! I drive 100 miles, passing other dispensaries, to go to Compassionate Heart. I get better medicine at a much better price, and don't feel like I'm in a head shop. They live up to their name in every way! Really R.M.?? The Bay Area has better medicine than Mendocino County? Where do you suppose they get that medicine, RM? Utah? Florida? No, RM- Mendocino County! The funny thing is, the entire world knows it, except poor RM. RM gets 1/2 star for crappy reviews that are badly written full of grammatical mistakes. All his reviews are negative with one exception: a pizza joint in Chicago. How are the dispensaries there, RM? One more thing, RM- you didn't review this company as someone needing medicine, you reviewed it as just a stoner. I resent that. I'm sure they have decent selections but they would not accept my card as my recommendation even though it has the stamped seal and an online verification. I do not mean to be ungracious but I feel the manager seemed cowardly to be afraid that I would lead to them being shut down over a simple sale to a knowledgable patient. In my opinion, it is a dispensary's role to be a leader in our united efforts to show what love and compassion are. I got some clones here and when I took them home and put them in partial sun 4 out of the 6 burned badly enough to be basically ruined. I called to ask for a refund, new clones or store credit but they basically just blamed me and refused to help. I suggested they warn customers when plants are not ready for sun exposure since I was told "they're ready to go", but again I was blamed for not "doing my own research". Truly poor customer service, I won't be coming back here again. read more

I love this place TBH. The staff is ALWAYS amazingly nice, and good prices too. Sometimes the bud is kinda dry but I guess that's what you get when you buy $10 grams vs $12 or $15 grams. Cant lost the pic but said "today only, reduced 0.00$ come get take advantage of this deal it's usually 50.00$ 'Cept I went there and noooooo. Not a free cartridge... Can't you see it doesn't say "Reduced to 0.00" just reduced 0.00. So it isnt reduced at all. So no freebie and the lady was rude to me because she made sure it didn't say "reduced to". F this club there are plenty of others. Could have at least been nice & apologetic about the misunderstanding. I drove from 3p miles away to be there for the 2 hour deal. An average dispensary at best, the owners are pretty nice however the medicine is mostly subpar. They usually have a strain or two that will be pretty good, and I've had some good hashes from there,however te majority of the strains aren't that potent or tasty. Edibles haven't been great but in going to Try one I just purchased - hopefully this one works. If you're planning on sampling different northern California dispensaries you could skip over this one... There's way better medicine down in the bay area read more
