We enjoyed our smoothies on the rooftop patio, and our kids want me to mention that there is a kids' corner inside the cafe with fun toys to play with while waiting for smoothies. We were lucky that we chose to check out Namaste Cafe on a Tuesday because Falafeelsgood, a pop-up restaurant that serves excellent falafel, hummus bowls, and falafel pita sandwiches, comes to the cafe on Tuesdays and Thursdays. There was a small mix-up in my order where I received an olive oil instead of one of the balsamics. Not only did they let me keep the olive oil, but they quickly sent out the correct balsamic AND included a free travel-size balsamic as a gift. They handled everything so quickly and professionally--it's clear they truly care about their customers. The service counter is very small and crowded with the kind of things you would find in a Seven-11--lottery tickets, vitamins, gum etc. Service was OK for what it is. Maybe because I came on a Tuesday, there were only half a dozen premade salads, (bean salad, potato, salad, etc.) A list of sandwich specialties were handwritten written on a piece of paper tacked to the wall. Specialty Sandwich selections were limited, but they will make you any type of sandwich you want. I had a ham and cheese, and the ham was that slick, processed type of ham, which most folks don't care for.
