Jared Rosen and Anahi Calderon were my case managers at Stone Rose Law for my VA health claims…read more They approached my case with compassion and professionalism. They balanced encouraging me to file my claims while at the same time allaying my hesitancy to talk about some of these conditions. Their suggestions and background work of filing paperwork, communication with the VA, and notifying me when I needed to take action helped me to concentrate on my health, VA appointments, and feeling better. I filed claims with the VA by myself in the past, and while those cases were completed efficiently by the VA, I felt alone, as I had to navigate the VA system, talk about uncomfortable health subjects, do my regular job, and try to get better... all while balancing a family and maintaining good physical fitness without injuries. With Ms. Calderon and Mr. Rosen, I did not feel alone. Every time they told me a case needed records, or anytime they answered questions about the process, it felt like I had someone in my corner and someone who could navigate the process and information flow so I can devote my energy to the goal of being their for my family in as good of health as I can be. Stone Rose Law was transparent and up front about its policies, procedures, and fees. Ms. Calderon and Mr. Rosen gave individual attention to my case and made sure to check in often. I never felt like just a number with them and they made the process overall a smooth one. Thank you to you both, Ms. Calderon and Mr. Rosen. You both made the whole process less daunting and less hopeless. You are making a difference for veterans and I appreciate it.

High-Volume & Little-to-No Accountability…read more **Update: My reply to Stone Rose Law is below** I retained Stone Rose Law in early August 2026 for my VA disability claim. They instructed me not to submit additional evidence and that they would handle development. Over the following weeks I sent multiple emails asking for status and confirmation that key records (oxygen authorization, POTS diagnosis, COPD documentation) had been submitted. Those emails went unanswered. When I finally received a call, the representative offered no update on the file, no plan, and no explanation for the silence. She repeatedly prompted me to terminate the representation. I later learned the claim had already been advanced to decision-letter preparation without the records I had been told not to submit myself. Representation was revoked on October 13, 2026. The result is an incomplete file that will almost certainly require a Supplemental Claim and another 7-9 month delay. If you are a veteran looking for a firm that will actually communicate and develop the evidence it is hired to handle, look elsewhere. After posting nearly the same review on Google, Stone Rose Law responded by attempting to reframe the core issue and heart of my 1-star rating. It was a blatant attempt to shift the narrative to me as an unreasonable client. The reality is, I wasn't attempting to contact the attorneys I had retained in order to have a detailed game-plan presented, or even ask anything that would require any semblance of knowledge of my VA claim. I just needed basic guidance. Things like "...I have a VA exam for disability coming up in a few weeks...are there any pitfalls I should know about?...Anything you'd advise me to not say while there?". If you look at all of their negative reviews, you'll see a pattern. They're more interested in shaming individuals who had a negative experience with them than they are at communicating. If they had put a fraction of that effort into responding to my attempts to communicate with them, I'm sure I'd be at 100% right now. **My Reply to Craig's Response** Stone Rose Law, Your reply is a transparent attempt to rewrite what actually happened. I did not fire off a single impatient "what's going on" email after one week. I sent multiple emails across roughly ten weeks asking for basic guidance on process and an upcoming exam. Those questions required no file access and no review of records. You simply did not answer them. When someone finally called, there was still no update and no plan, only repeated prompting to terminate the representation (I'm referring to Melissa...the only person who called me, ever). The claim then advanced without the records I had been instructed not to submit myself. That is the sequence. You have now chosen to post a defense that blames the client for the firm's silence and pretends the only issue was an unreasonable timeline expectation. It is not. The issue is that the firm did not communicate, did not develop the evidence it was retained to handle, and is now publicly mischaracterizing the record to protect its own narrative. That pattern is visible in other reviews as well. Your lack of ownership lacks the integrity and professionalism I was looking for in a firm. My decision to follow Melissa's advice and leave your firm feels validated.
