Our senior pup passed away peacefully at home on Labor Day, which was especially difficult since we had lost another dog just four months earlier. On top of our grief, most places were closed for the holiday, and we were not prepared for the unexpected expense. We first tried the Humane Society, knowing they are usually the more affordable option, but they were closed. A kind vet assistant happened to be there, but she explained they couldn't accept our dog until the next morning. The thought of having to keep her at home overnight was overwhelming. When we arrived, we were welcomed by a beautiful and comforting environment--the flowers, the rainbow bridge ramp, vintage touches, aquariums, and even their sweet resident animals. We were greeted by Russell, the owner's son, who showed such compassion and patience. My husband, who was especially devastated, wanted a few more moments with our girl, and Russell gave us the time we needed without rushing us. He carefully explained the options for urns and keepsakes, never pressuring us, and even helped us arrange a manageable payment solution. After we left, I worried that I had forgotten to ask for a lock of her fur. To my relief, Russell had already saved some for us and even made a paw print keepsake. That thoughtful gesture meant the world to us. Although I had never heard of Compassionate Care Pet Cremations before that day, Russell left a lasting impression that we will never forget. I still plan to return to choose a permanent urn for our beloved dog's remains. I think It goes without saying that when looking up or calling a place to inquire about cremating a pet, it's not a happy time. Not much can make these moments any less difficult or heartbreaking but what can help ease the heartbreak even just a little is knowing that the place you do call, genuinely cares. Losing my cat a little over a year after my dog made this loss exceptionally difficult. I'm So grateful that in the darkness of this time we found CCPC. From first phone call Stephen was gentle and understanding. My wife and I both have used a different company in the past and truth be told reached out there first, however they were closed. Enter a google search that has completely changed the way we will deal with the loss of our furbabies for forever. Since this was our first time stepping into a new company with this situation we had a lot of questions. At no point did my wife or I feel that we spoke too long or asked too much. Our beloved 12 year old toy poodle, Sparky was hit by an auto and died instantly. He was our last one of six poodles over the years and the first one that died accidentally so we took him to our vet to see about cremation. Can you believe they wanted $451. As much as we loved Sparky I felt the cremation services the vet used were taking advantage of their clients. The receptionist said there was a 24 hour cremation service for pets in Jacksonville and called them for us and they said it cost $195, We left the vets office and went to Compassionate Care Pet Cremation on Rogero Rd. Unbelievable, so much better than a vets office, like a funeral home, instead of just dropping Sparky off, they actually took him from us, fixed him, them had a showing so we could say goodbye, just like at a funeral. greatly appreciated. It was so sudden when it happened, he was so kind to do a little service for her and let us say our last goodbyes. The process was very quick and I was able to pick up our baby just 2 days later and bring her home. Stephen included a beautiful little clay paw print, a bundle of her fur, and some seeds to plant in memory of our baby. This is like a little pet funeral home. They treated my family so well during the difficult time of losing my yorkie after having him for 15 1/2 years. I found them a few hours before my dog passed away. They met me at 10:30 at night at the Arlington location. They made it special for me to say goodbye to my sweet boy one last time. I was also able to pick out an urn and request to have his paw print made on a clay impression. It was the last nice thing I could do for my loyal little companion. In a few days they had everything ready in a very thoughtful bag along with some beautiful literature and hair clippings. When our 23 year old cat, Tabby, passed away, we contacted Compassionate Care Pet Cremation to get information about creation services for her. Stephen answered and the first thing he asked me was what my pets name was. That touched my heart that someone actually wanted to know about my pet. Having gone through a very emotional day with Tabby passing away it was nice to receive a simple request showing he cared. We arranged for Stephen to pick up our Tabby from our home. When he arrived he asked how I was doing, and then asked if we had had her for a long time. My 86 year old Mother lost her fur baby of almost 17 years, Izzy. She was devastated and I live 200 miles away. I reached out to Stephen and he was very helpful in explaining the process and even came to my Mom to pick Izzy up as she is unable to drive. My Mom contacted me after he left and said Stephen was extremely kind and compassionate and was "a neat guy". She told me she felt comfortable turning her fur baby over to him and knew Izzy would be treated with dignity. The letter from the young 10 yr old boy who blames his mother for trusting a man she didn't know to care for him and ultimately take advantage of him. This boy was visiting his mother for the summer as the father had full custody back in 2007-8 do you know this little boy Timothy never came back to visit his mother again bc of this incident with Stephen Kuzniar where he took him alone kayaking and then to the community pool where he insisted he put on silk shorts so when they were wet Stephen could see everything and then he takes pictures of this little boy at the pool and virtually exposed with the swimwear Stephen made him wear!!!! read more

Compassionate pet buried pets on their property and collected money from innocent people. The owner, some of the staff.2 arrested then fled the state and was returned. Mishandling pet remains. Still under investigation. The owner is just as responsible! All of his businesses need to be shut down. I don't even know if I have my dogs ashes, the paw print plaque had fake paw prints. The number on the ashes bag is different than the certificate number..shame on you all for sloppy work, improper documentation! So many people affected by this. Don't take your pet there! We lost our precious dog Hunter on Sunday September 22. I called and Stephen could not have been nicer on the phone. His compassion for what we were going through is immeasurable. Stephen and his son Rusty arrived within 2 hours. Stephen carefully took our 140 boy out and then returned and asked if we wanted him to help roll up the soiled carpet and dispose of it, for which we were so appreciative. My beautiful Napoleon passed away 2/11/24. I wanted to have his body cremated so that he could be home with us. I took him to "Compassion Care Pet Cremation" I was greeted by the owner (I forgot his name) but as I was filling out the paper work the owner had Napoleon on a bed and he told me to take my time to say goodbye.
