She was so friendly and caring. I made an appointment for both of us. They sent the paperwork to my phone. Easy to answer and sign up as new patients. When I saw the receptionist, she was friendly. When I saw the Doctor, she was friendly and Yet, so professional and so caring. She took the time to answer every question my son and I had, As well as gave us extra info. We did not feel like we were in a fast care clinic. They really cared. It's hard to find a clinic like this. I highly recommend. A+ Plus Service. Teresa and Jenny took great care of me, and they were very, very thorough, went above and beyond to make sure I was as comfortable as possible, and there was no doubt left in my mind that they did a great job. They answered all of my questions and were very clear about the nexts steps I should take at home. Overall time spent here was a little over an hour, and the longest time I spent waiting, which was really only maybe 20 minutes, was after I had received treatment. Great experience overall and I would definitely recommended them.

As a Black family, we left this urgent care feeling dismissed and deeply disappointed. My son has a significant cut on his hand and was in visible pain. He was evaluated, we were charged, and then told to use over the counter medication. No meaningful pain management options were offered. When I asked about pain control, I was told they "do not give out pain medication." That response felt dismissive. It should not feel like you have to beg for equality in healthcare simply because you are Black. It should not feel like you have to advocate twice as hard just for your pain to be taken seriously. Black and Brown families already face documented disparities in pain management in healthcare. It's disgusting! They balentily lied about their facilities not writing prescriptions for pain medicines for any patients. Clear discrimination against my son! If this facility has strict prescribing policies, that should be clearly communicated before billing families. Every patient deserves equitable, respectful, and compassionate care regardless of race. I will be filing complaints against their medical licenses!

They charged me $90 copay for 3 previous covid visits which were covered by my insurance and just left the money in their system (no refund at all). Then when the bill for 9/7/23 came up they used the $90 dollars they kept to pay part of this bill instead of getting the bill corrected with my insurance. I then got a bill for $16.97 in 2/24. I kept getting texts about the bill but never received a paper bill until this time. I had notified them that I did not do my business via online/phone. I paid the bill on 2/14/24 but got another bill in 3/24 for the same thing. When I called them, I was told that is takes 30 days for payments to show on file. The Providence office took my credit card information that I gave them to pay my co-pays with and charged the amount I owed from a visit in 12/23 on it instead of sending me a bill. No notice and no bill was sent to me. I was told I had to keep a credit card on file if I was using this office. Why do you need a card on file when you could just pay each time you go? They want this so they can do just what they did to me by charging my card and not sending me a bill. The billing department is the reason I will never go here again.

What matters is not the fall, but the comeback. And right now, Springhill ER is the only place I want to be if I ever face another emergency like I did last night. Quick backstory: I've spent the past 7 weeks with a family member at another local hospital. Picture this--labs "lost," vile nurses, zero leadership, a doctor committing medical fraud with no accountability, and staff snickering about patients in the hallway. Sure, a handful of great nurses and a solid case management team exist there, but the system is broken. I even caught something there and haven't shaken it since. So yeah, I've seen the worst. Fast-forward to last night. My O2 dropped to 86 and I could barely breathe. I tried another ER first--big mistake. The nurse made me feel worse than I already did. Something in me said, "Go to Springhill." Thank God I listened. Here's where the underdog story starts. Spoiler: Springhill wins. Check-in was polite, quick, and staff weren't glued to their phones like I've seen elsewhere. Triage was thorough and respectful. They even noticed I was struggling for air and handled me with compassion. That's already a win in my book. The doctor? Hands down one of the top ER docs in Mobile--knowledgeable, compassionate, and explained everything like a walking FAQ. He hit that rare balance of confidence and humanity. That's exactly who you want when you're scared and sick. And the nurses? Efficient heroes. I've passed out before from fear of IVs, but they did my blood draw and IV in one seamless step. I kept asking when they'd start, and the nurse just smiled and said, "Honey, you're done." That's process improvement AND patient care rolled into one.
