I enrolled in the "Day Zero" class in order to gain some familiarity before the first 250 day. I would highly recommend this approach if you are new to the pistol. The course is not easy, and I had to work at it each day. All to the better. I felt extremely safe through the entire experience. The instructors are thorough professionals and highly attuned to participant safety. I will certainly be going back. 5 of 5, if I could rate them a 10 I would do so.

We absolutely loved this place! My girlfriend and I were visiting Sedona with my father and his wife who are considering moving here, and they asked what I wanted to do. Seeing as I am from a small town in Northern (like, WAY northern) California, it is relatively difficult to rent or buy a gun, or even to find a shooting range. I told him I thought we should go shooting, so I looked this place up, and saw that it had noteworthy reviews. They provide a package that costs about $80 and includes everything a beginner needs: gun rentals, ear/eye protection rentals, ammunition, a characteristic; fun; patient; and knowledgeable older instructor who is convinced he can convince anyone that they can and will shoot today (hey, it worked on my step-mom), etc. On top of that, to the surprise of a Californian, you can actually rent and shoot fully-automatic rifles the same day you walk in their door. I got to hold an M4 and an AK. The rental process was very smooth, the gentlemen working there were courteous and knew their stuff, and our overall experience was very positive. My dad (who was not a huge supporter of guns beforehand) was raving about it on our way home. He said he'll likely go back there for a few more lessons. I would highly recommend this place for beginner, intermediate, and advanced shooters alike.

I took their CCW class in October 2021 and have been a regular since then. Staff is knowledgeable and efficient. There is a rifle range and pistol range, as well as archery. The pistol range has six separate lanes and area for loading and personal storage. Clean and temp controlled, although not everyone cleans their brass after a session, so be sure to ensure your lane is clean before firing. I've purchased firearms through them and staff is competent and thorough. They offer hourly lane and firearm rentals as well as 6-month and annual memberships, which I highly recommend. The facility is perched up on a hill over looking the Verde Valley, located by the Yavapai Sheriff station/jail and Out of Africa. I do wish they had a larger selection of pistols for "try-out", and for sale. However, they can order anything for the customer. Highly recommend if you're visiting and want something fun to try..or if you're a local and want to brush-up, or maintain your skills!

Absolutely horrible customer service provided by the Vice President, Sherri…read more I scheduled their CCW class back in October for a December slot. A week before the class began I changed my mind and decided not to attend. When I went in to cancel my slot and receive a refund it turned into a huge ordeal. The gentlemen working the store (although pleasant) were unable to do anything to help me, instead handing me a business card for Vice President Sherri and directing me to contact her for a resolution. I sat in the store on what turned in to a 20 minute phone conversation with her. Sherri was completely unwilling to cancel my class and refund my money. I sat through a cringeworthy sales pitch (guided by some mystery man in the background of the phone call) about why they think they are better than other classes, the benefits of their class, and was offered multiple times to reschedule, none of which applied to what I was calling about. Sherri said they are not able to process refunds on classes due to the business eating the cost of credit card processing fees and reward points earned, yet still refused even after I offered to receive a refund minus these estimated costs. Adding to the confusion, she said if I go through the entire class and say I "didn't learn anything" then she would process a full refund, including the aforementioned fees. Sherri would rather go through all that headache and argue with a customer than simply do the right thing and refund my money to begin with. She seemed far more concerned with 'winning the battle' on the phone than doing right by her customer. The lack of refundability was also never disclosed prior to pre-paying for the class. I was offered store credit after significant back and forth, which I refused. After this experience I am no longer interested in ever doing business with Insight again.

I consider him and his wife and daughter to be friends, almost family. Over the years Dave has worked on close to a dozen guns for me, from simple adjustments to a complete cosmetic work over on a 1911, adding sights to two pistols and three rifles, stock work, tune ups, restorations, and more. I have send several people to him and they all were satisfied, even one man whose father's rifle was a $2,00 single shot .222 that was abused over the years and a wreck. He did a partial restoration on a Korean War bring back 1911 that turned out so well the customer's wife took it for her own and wont give it back. He had to buy a new gun for himself. I have had a few guns sent to him from out of state purchases...and one more coming soon. I have never had a problem with any of his work and highly recommend him to anyone who asks. Also, noticed they had an outdoor axe throwing target and decided to go inside. As we stepped inside it wasn't too busy. It was clean, nicely lit and was very organized. The staff was friendly, and knowledgeable. They had a variety of guns, and for kids they had GoatGuns and other items. They had a bathroom for customers which was well kept and clean. I didn't have time to actually go axe throwing or go to the shooting range but plan to next time I'm in town.

I shot a bunch of guns and it was a total blast, especially the big ass belt-fed gun. It's not cheap, but hey either is ammo and upkeep, so I get it. Nice little gift shop as well, got myself a shot glass. I had a great experience and If I ever end up in Williams again, I'd love to bring a friend or family member here.
