She said he was extremely knowledgeable about the areas we were looking in and was very honest and patient. Thank god we chose to give it a shot. Jerry is everything you would expect and want from a real estate agent. He has been in the field long enough to know what to jump on and what to avoid, when to buy and when to sell, and most of all, what home is perfect for you at your current stage in life. He was patient with us from the start, which says A LOT as I was pretty demanding and we were both completely unfamiliar with what to do when it came to buying our first home. He worked with us to find out what we liked and what we didn't, and where we wanted to live. He was there with us for the ups and the downs and the unexpected. He 'held our hands' through every step of the process and worked with us to make sure we were completely happy. He is also full of resources and recommendations so when we had to drop our loan officer due to severe issues one month before we had to move out of our apartment, he referred us to another one who settled us down within a couple days. Now that we've moved in, he has helped us even in the renovating and repairing stages with a handyman/electrician. Jerry is the best real estate agent we could've ever asked for and has become a trusted friend. We highly recommend him to help you with your home purchase or home sale. You won't be sorry! :)

I sold off some stock to cover these costs, and when I had a hard time getting the recent sale transaction receipts, he stalled the entire process until I did, even though, as I said, the additional funds he insisted on were neither closing costs disclosed in the disclosure statement or required. They were simply funds he wanted to see us have. In fact, there were refunds on the closing costs because we had more than enough. On the day of the mail-away closing, we were rushed to get to work, they slipped in an agreement to allow them to re-verify all our information after closing, including our bank information, salary information, everything. We had no way to ask questions, show it to our attorney, nothing. Then, after the loan closed, we were told we would have to have a "post closing" audit of our employment and salary by our employers just a few months after our employment information was submitted to them and verified. I have never seen this before, anywhere.
