Eh. I prob won't go back. I like that u can save a spot here. You have to fill out all your info…read moreahead of time and upload photos of insurance card and photo I.d. I went there and waited.. only to find out they don't accept my insurance. They would have bee helpful to know right away, not after filling everything out, uploading all docs & waiting. I looked up that Henry Ford was in network & it was, but apparently "Go Health" Is not. I was very sick and it was Sunday, and not a lot of urgent cares are open near me. So I paid cash $155. They took me back and I waited another 45+ min and it went busy at all. I had to open the door, ask if they forgot me and the same Dr that was sitting there when I was taken in, was still sitting there. He then jumped up and came in. The girl had previously taken my vitals and throat swab. He said it was negative but clearly I was very ill. He said it was VERY expensive.. over $350 for them to test for Covid and Influenza so I went home and did my own. I called with results by 5:00p like instructed. They never called back until after my pharmacy was closed so I never got scripts til following day. The script was not believed to help, but said it was viral and nothing would work besides try steroid. Call back after 10 days if I'm worse. The place is not very clean.. and they seem ok, but not willing to do more than necessary. It was a long process for practically nothing.

I went to this emergency room for pain in my legs and back due to slipped disks and pinched nerves…read more I arrived at the hospital by ambulance and was taken into Er. I was check in and was ignored unless they needed something. Push the call button immediate attitude. At one point I was in so much pain I was crying and trying my hardest to get comfortable so I pushed the call button nurse came in offered me a pain med I had already been given that didn't work got all pissed off I said it wasn't working and left me there in pain for THREE HOURS with no substitute and no other help. The only nice nurse I had was the one in the morning the where wonderful and let me have the room after I was discharged so I could lay down instead of sitting in the waiting room since that was painful! I hope to NEVER go to those again

I am responding to your request to contact you…read more If you wish for me to delete or change my review let me tell you that the only thing that I would do is edit it for errors otherwise I stand by my statement. My review is strictly of the doctor, detailing my experience with Ms Hollowell, (I will only address her as Ms not Dr because I do not deem her worthy of that distinction) what it is not is a review of your hospital or the practice where she now is a member.  My goal in writing the review is to inform potential patients of my experience and the personal consequences of my unfortunate medical encounter with Ms. Hollowell.  I am going to note that when I asked the hospital to recommend which doctor to see from the practice while scheduling my colonoscopy Ms. Hollowell was not it, she was however the one with the first available appointment. I now ask myself, was that my misfortune or my mistake? My second goal in writing the review is to inform the hospital and the practice of the potential liability that they may face by giving her surgical rights or employment within their practice.  I cannot change history, and undo what has happened to me, but I can inform others that there can be dire outcomes that they should be aware of by choosing Ms Hollowell as their surgeon. Everything I have stated in my review is what I experienced, what I have been informed by medical professionals that specialize in gastric surgery, and by information that was shared with me although I cannot personally verify others accounts for accuracy, I can only repeat it .  Again, this is simply a review of my experience. This has affected my DAILY life, my physical and mental health and been a financial burden that I cannot afford.  My motivation is so that no one else will have to experience what I have. No one else will wake up in the night with severe pain, no one else will have to be a prisoner of their home, no one else will have to fear driving a long distance, or getting on an airplane, or being anywhere that there is not a restroom readily accessible, no one else will get immediately sick from eating the smallest portion of food, no one else should be told that they now face a shortened lifespan, are more susceptible to certain cancers and illnesses, no one else will have to be frustrated, depressed, sad or angry that this was the outcome of a "routine procedure" meant for the betterment of their health not the demise of it.  And that none of the countless medical specialists that I have seen should feel the need to profusely apologize to me for something that they did not do. If sharing my story will help even one person avoid this outcome, then I have accomplished the bare minimum of the control that I have over this situation, with the sincere hope that it does not happen to them. Information is always the most powerful tool in one's personal tool box.   With all this said, yes you may reach out to me if you see any value in doing so.

She then tried to put the steri strips on without closing his wound. They were sticking to her gloves and to the inside of his wound. She never was able to bandage him up properly. I had to redo it when I got home. Please do not trust this place with your children.

This urgent care did not take my insurance; which to say the least, was a blessing in disguise. At the desk, you could hear someone watching a movie/show super loud from their back area. The language was super inappropriate. I'm used to a more "corporate" like atmosphere. The girl at the desk seemed ultra unqualified for her position. Very unsure of herself and had to go back and clarify multiple times my questions. Consistently speaking in Spanish to one another which just rubbed me the wrong way. Almost like I was an inconvenience to them. By the way, they have a sign stating their x-ray machine is broken. Nice urgent care. No x-rays and clearly no cleaning staff either by the looks of it! Would rather go to a vet office for my needs!

The doctor seems super knowledgeable and very thorough going through my wife's medical records going years back to help in his diagnosis. Special shout out to Dr Josh Newsom and Dr Brian McParland. Both went above and beyond in our care. I don't recall the names of the nurses and other staff but they were amazing as well. I recently had a poor experience with another Corewell location and was reluctant to go to this location but I'm glad I did go. I can not speak highly enough about the care we received and the knowledge and care of the staff. From checking in to making my wife had enough blankets to asking me I need anything to make me more comfortable the staff really blew us away. Ive never experienced care like this any hospital or ER setting.

I am a nurse who has worked in quite of few different hospitals and I can say by far this is the BEST experience I have been a part of. Kuddos to your great staff.
