She returned all calls and emails. I googled her to get her contact info for a friend. I was surprised to see even just one negative review pop up. She worked extra with me on so many items. Above and beyond my expectations. Her research to price my house was spot on. Her consult on what to do to prepare my house for sale was invaluable. I would have wasted money if not for her. She knows what counts and what doesn't. Her experience is evident. She helped with recommendations on contractors to upgrade/fix things. She did diligent follow for me. She has a warm and wonderful personality but she will tell the "truth" if you need to hear it. So honest. She will give you good input with facts. Then she will let you decide and support your decision. I highly recommend her.

I chose them because of all the great things I had heard about them in my community and once I met them and heard everything they had to say, I knew they were the ones! I decided to stress myself out and do everything in literally 3 weeks in order to get my house on the market before the holiday season and I could not have pulled it off without them. They gave me great suggestions and people to call to get things done right away. I took their advice on everything and it paid off! I got a contract on my house in 4 days from it going on the market! I am very pleased with the final sales price and again, took their advice on everything and how to negotiate the best deal. I worked closely with Wendy on everything and she was a true gem. She was so responsive, professional and calm, yet assertive when I needed her to be. I can't say enough great things about both Brad and Wendy and I would use them again in a minute. When I move back to VA, I will definitely be calling them again! Thank you Brad and Wendy, for getting me through a very emotional and stressful time with such kindness, dedication and expert advice. Fondly, Laura

LizLuke (a.k.a. Elizabeth Lucchesi) sold me my first home almost 10 years ago. She made such a…read moregood impression that I returned to her this year for another purchase. LizLuke's most valuable skill, to me, is in accurately pricing offers. I purchased during a housing crash and most recently in the current pre-Amazon craze. Both times, the property was competitively bid by multiple buyers. Both times, LizLuke predicted what offer would get me the property. I'm fairly cheap. When LizLuke priced my bid, it wasn't simply a matter of coming in with a load of cash and grossly overpaying. While I cannot tell for certain, I feel like my winning bids were just a fraction above the 2nd place buyer. LizLuke has other qualities that I appreciate. She has a lot of connections in the home improvement space. Both properties I purchased needed moderate repairs. When I called and told them that LizLuke sent me, I received exceedingly fast responses and I was pleased with the jobs that were done. LizLuke has also been very responsive to my communications. I believe I received same day responses to just about every question I asked, and even after both sales has called to see if everything is going well. LizLuke has my highest recommendation.

I also wish I could say that I hadn't closed before making absolutely sure that all the punchlist items on my condo were taken care of. No such luck. I'm fully aware of the mistakes I made during this process--trusting that people are generally decent and for not being even more diligent about every little detail. But, buyers beware. A TTR Sotheby's agent represented the seller on a property I just purchased and you couldn't pay me to work with this company or Sam Sterling again. I closed a week ago and still don't have a working toilet despite it being on the list of inspection repairs. I also don't have a mail key or a garage access card. Basic stuff here.

Although there were uncertainties in the backdrop surrounding the sale of our home, she made it a top priority to sell it within a certain timeframe and had us sell it above our asking price (we had MULTIPLE bids on our home). Alison is also very patient with children, as ours enjoyed her company on the occasions we would meet up in person. She operates on a personal level, is very knowledgeable about the D.C. Metro housing market (local trends versus national), and is straightforward to help you sell your home. We highly recommend Alison Christmas of TTR Sotheby's International Realty!

But what it lacks in modern amenities, it makes up for FREE WATER AND GAS! They are a locally owned business, and have been around forever. They own a few apartment buildings in Arlington and Alexandria, and the best thing is they are cheap (for NOVA and dc standards). I currently rent a 1 br apartment in the westover neighborhood in arlington for under 700 bucks, and comparable places around here easily go for 1100.. Over the past year they havent really raised my rent either, so I can't complain. They are decent at fixing things when I call, and they also have pest control come through our apartments every 3 months or so. I'm afraid of advertising for them because I don't want my rent to go up, but you should give them a call if you want to find a cheap apartment in this area.
