Community Flower Shop was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Working with Olivia was an absolute gift during the planning process. In the middle of planning, I experienced some unexpected health issues, and Olivia was compassionate, patient, and incredibly understanding every step of the way. Olivia was also very mindful of our budget and was transparent throughout the entire process. The true testament to Community Flower Shop's work was the "wow" factor when we walked into the room for the first time. Seeing everything come together was unforgettable. The flowers completely transformed the space and set the tone for the entire celebration. They took my vision and elevated it. I can't recommend Olivia and her team enough they are talented, creative, passionate, professional, and genuinely cared about our wedding. read more

Not an expert on flowers, but I used 1-800-Flowers and paid over $150 (includes taxes, delivery, etc) for the medium version of Garden Path delivered by the Community Flower Shop (Library Rd) and the recipient was very disappointed. Indicated on delivery day it was already wilting and she said it 'looked like it was just thrown together' (I'm no expert so I can't say). I was disappointed in the picture, as I selected it due to the 'Hot Pink Roses' which they replaced with red roses. I have a picture of what I thought I was buying and what she received, but haven't seen a way to post it. read more

Used community floral for our wedding and they did a great job! They heard our goals and helped us integrate them in a cohesive and beautiful way. We had little terrariums on our tables which were super cute! HOWEVER, Because I had heard of people having issues with flower companies (generally speaking) in the past, I specifically asked in one of our planning meetings exactly what we were purchasing and what we would be able to take home with us at the end of the wedding. We were told that we could take everything but the metal arches they would use to make flower arches. I even asked specifically about the tiny terrariums and was told that we could take them. Lo and behold, on the day of the wedding we were letting our guests know that they could take terrariums and then were interrupted by community floral employees who told us we could NOT take them. We discussed this for a bit (and referenced the conversation we had in the planning meeting) and ended up not being able to take them, so had to have our guests put them back. So sad. I emailed Community Floral after the wedding to discuss this issue. We were told we were paying for them and that we would be able to take them. If we weren't able to take them, we should receive a partial refund. Of course their response was that we must have been mistaken, and that they would not have told us we could take the terrariums. And no further response from them after that. This was an uncomfortable but good learning experience from me - always get everything in writing. I should have asked to have the specifics spelled out in the contract. read more

The florist was very accommodating when my flowers were dying the morning after delivery. The reason for 2 stars is the attitude and rudeness of the delivery driver. The quality and freshness of the flowers are not the greatest. I have bought nicer flower arrangements at Trader Joe's than I received from this flower shop and I am sure the cost was a fraction of what my relative paid for these flowers. read more

Honestly was extremely disappointed in these mother's day flowers I ordered for $75. I got the standard arrangement and the picture on the website reflected what it should look like and I got not even a quarter of that. Mostly greenery. I would go elsewhere for flower needs or they need to update their website pictures to reflect what you are actually buying. I feel like I was ripped off for the price read more

Miranda and team truly delivered on my wedding day florals! I had a few specific flower, color, and arrangement requests, but besides that, I let the team decide on how to complete my wedding look and they did not disappoint! The team was able to put my vision together (a vision I was unable to describe ahead of time I will add) and delivered on the colorful, textured, and romantic styles I was hoping for. The florals were definitely a highlight of my wedding day and were a big part in creating my fairytale wedding. read more

Working with Community Flower Shop was such a wonderful experience!! Olivia was my floral designer and she is an absolute dream to work with. I'm still in shock how she made our wedding florals EVEN BETTER than the Pinterest pictures I sent her. She really went above and beyond for us to create this magical Italian winter wedding. Olivia is very professional, very organized, sticks within your budget and the quality of the flowers they use are second to none. read more

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Olivia at Community Flower Shop for our wedding. From our very first proposal meeting, Olivia captured exactly what we imagined and made our decision very easy. The final product absolutely blew us away and was so beautiful. We even had a minor crisis the day of our wedding with under-ordering on some items (our fault, not hers), and Olivia was able to make us some additional items last minute which was amazing. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend Community Flower Shop! read more

I would 100% recommend Community Flower Shop to anyone looking for a florist for a wedding! I worked primarily with Miranda and she was wonderful to work with from the initial email and leading up to the wedding! At our initial meeting Miranda gathered information about our wedding and what we were looking for. I felt so comfortable after meeting with Miranda, and knew that she understood our style. We were provided with a price quote quickly. The quote was slightly under our budget, and their prices were actually lower than the 2 other floral shops that I met with. Regardless of the amount, I knew I was going with Community Flower Shop just based on our meeting and the arrangements I've seen from them. We always had great communication from Miranda and she was so flexible with us when we were considering postponing our wedding due to Covid. I absolutely loved our flowers! They were so beautiful and I couldn't be happier with how they turned out! read more

Community Flower shop did an absolutely phenomenal job with our wedding. We wanted to keep our wedding budget friendly, and initially were not going to have a florist. Later on in the planning, it became very apparent that we definitely needed a florist to be able to achieve the look that we were going for. Initially, I spoke with Patrick on the phone and he was so helpful and so friendly. Patrick had Miranda call us back, which she returned our call promptly. We were able to set up a time to meet with Miranda. She was more than accommodating as we both work and then live on the other side of town from the flower shop. She agreed to meet with us close to closing time (didn't even mention that, I didn't even know until I looked at the hours on the door). Our meeting ran a little over, but she never made us feel rushed. We are not very well versed in how these meetings should go, but Miranda was so informative, patient, and kind. We wanted just a minimal flowered look, with more focus on eucalyptus on our table. We were also looking to be budget friendly, as we did not initially plan to have a florist. We had a Chinese/ Vietnamese wedding, in which our colors traditionally are bright gold and red; however, my husband and I were going for a more modern, muted take on this, with a deep burgundy and cream color (a nod to our heritage if you will). We were able to describe our look, vision, and budget needs with Miranda. Miranda was able to get back to us very quickly with a more than fair price, with a more than fair time frame in which we could pay for the services. Day of, let me tell you, was so BEAUTIFUL. It was everything and more. Miranda and her team really accentuated our wedding and made it look lush, classy, and decorated, without going overboard. I was in love with the way it looked and the way it was set up. I am so impressed how just describing my vision to her, how she was able to execute that into the exact look that we wanted (budget friendly did I mention?). Working with Miranda, was honestly, so stress free. I didn't really need to follow-up and things were done when they said they were done. It really was just a great experience because, honestly, besides telling her what I wanted, that was all I needed to do! Such a wonderful, WONDERFUL, artist! Thank you Community Flower Shop! read more

I had the pleasure of having Miranda and team do my flowers for my September wedding. I wanted something different -- lots of color! Pink lilies with some blue flowers. I didn't give her much more than that but when my flowers showed up they were truly more beautiful than I ever could have fathomed. It still is one of my favorite elements from our wedding. It was perfectly us! We got so many compliments not only from guests but other vendors saying how beautiful the arrangements and the colors were. Absolutely would recommend!! So disappointed. I placed an order on-line with plenty of notice (4/18) for Mother's Day (5/8). I live in NC and this was to be delivered the Saturday before Mother's Day to brighten a difficult year. NOTHING was delivered. When I called Mom she had, of course, not received anything from me this year. The first time in 50 years. I called today (Mother's Day) to see what happened and got no answer. I ordered flowers to be sent to my daughter in Pittsburgh. I live out of town, so I called For you Flowers and picked out a premium arrangement. When the flowers arrived, they were not what I had paid for. A few flowers and alot of greens. I called the shop to have them redo the arrangement. We just got married in October and one of the best decisions I made while planning was to use the Community Flower Shop. We didn't go too heavy on flowers for the centerpieces, but they worked with us to give us exactly what we wanted. My main focus was the bouquets and boutonnières. I wanted fall bright colors for the bouquets and incorporating a wine cork into the boutonnières (the venue was a winery). They exceeded my exceptions. I gave them a few picture ideas and they created something even better. Even the little details around the winery were perfect. I would highly recommend them for your wedding, event, or any other floral needs! Thank you Miranda and Patrick!!! read more

Community Flower Shop - Our gorgeous bouquets - Florists Near Me - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Picking Miranda and Patrick at Community Flower Shop to do my wedding florals was one of the best decisions that my husband and I made during the entire planning process! We met with them to explain our vision (dark, enchanting, whimsical, romantic, organic without being bohemian in a purple/gray palette), and they came back with concepts and ideas that were exactly what we had in mind. Throughout the planning process, I contacted Community Flower Shop to add and remove things several times, and Miranda was very quick to respond and accommodated my changes without any fuss. We were able to see a mock up of a centerpiece a few months in advance to get a feel for what the florals would look like, which I appreciated. The day of the wedding, they arrived on time, set everything up perfectly, and, overall, absolutely knocked our wedding florals out of the park! They executed our vision exactly, and then some. Everything from the ceremony decor (birch arch/aisle decor) to my bouquet to the cake flowers was absolutely stunning. The guests kept raving that they had never seen such beautiful/unique florals at any other wedding before ours. If you want wedding florals that make an impact, definitely go with Community Flower shop. I can't recommend them enough and wish that I had more events that require floral design that I could hire them for! read more

We used Community Flower Shop for our June wedding. Miranda and Patrick were amazing! At our initial consultation, they were easy to work with, and we felt like they knew exactly what we were thinking/had in mind. We had a specific archway in mind, which they did not have available so they made it for us! Throughout the planning process they were very detailed and helpful. They worked directly with our venue's wedding coordinator to schedule setup/pick up, which was a huge help. On our big day, the bouquets, bouts, centerpieces and archway exceeded our expectations! They were gorgeous and better than we could have imagined. Thank you so much for helping to make our day perfect Community Flower Shop! read more

Huge disappointment. The arrangements are amateur at best. I don't know if it's lack of experience or just plain sloppy work. You will not regret working with Miranda from Community Flower Shop for your wedding. After reaching out to a few pretty expensive florists in town, my now husband and I were almost completely 100% decided on making our own artificial flower arrangements for our wedding centerpieces and bouquets -- that is, until we met with Miranda and Patrick. They seemed to get our vibe completely right off the bat, and were certainly wonderful communicators throughout the entire process. I am so happy to have worked with them. Instead of traditional bridesmaid bouquets, we wanted floral lanterns for the girls, and they made us absolutely beautiful pieces for them to hold. For our venue, we wanted a floral hanging piece for our venue to hang above us for our ceremony (and repurpose above the sweetheart table for dinner) and Community Flower Shop FREAKING DELIVERED... I cried happy tears when we got to our ceremony venue that morning and saw their work. Another note, on our 90+ degree wedding day, Miranda went ABOVE AND BEYOND by rushing to the venue before our ceremony to give my groom a brand new boutonnière, since his was completely wilted from doing 3+ hours of outdoor photos before the ceremony. Miranda was absolutely one of my favorite vendors to work with, and if I could do it all over again, I would work with her again in a heartbeat. I cannot thank them enough for their work! read more

Within hours of placing my order it was delivered. My friend was elated in receiving the flowers. Her family was EXTREMELY impressed by the flowers longevity and the overall beauty they brought. Patrick and Miranda made all of my wedding dreams come true. They were so patient with me and beyond kind through the entire process. They respected my budget and gave me alternative ideas to do things I proposed that were outside of my budget. It was a pleasure working with them and I am glad I made such a great decision to have them with me on my wedding day. Im late writing this review and hadn't planned on but the more I thought about it, I decided to share. There aren't too many times I have had bad experiences where I would voice my opinion but receiving the opposite of what was ordered and paid for, without a call, to explain is not acceptable. My boyfriend ordered flowers to be delivered to my work place on Valentine's day this year. I was so excited and they were beautiful. They lasted a week and a half, which I think is a fair amount of time. I sent him a photo and a thanks and he about hit the roof. Whfat was delivered and what he ordered did not match. He even chose from a photo on website so there wouldn't be any confusion as to what he wanted. I got 9 red roses in a red vase. They roses were accompanied by purple flowers that , in the photo, were to fill out the vase. This was not the case. The purple flowers were tiny little buds on long green stems. Very scrawny and the roses would have actually looked much better without them. I was happy to get flowers as it has been quite a while. He felt taken advantage of, rightfully so. The photo and what I got were completely different. I do understand that there may be a slight discrepancy on occasion but not to this degree. A phone call to expalin ahead of delivery would have been appreciated from him amd chances are he would have been just fine with it. Unfortunately he nor I will be using this business again. First time customer disappointed. I am giving three stars for the fact that they delivered on a busy holiday and that the roses lasted a good amount of time. read more

If I could give ZERO stars I would. One of the WORST experiences I have had in a very long time. Product wise and customer service stunk. What a nightmare! The original photo of the arrangement I ordered was a white puppy made out of flowers popping out of a polka dot ceramic birthday present with light & bright cheerful flowers in the background & a balloon attached. What I received was NOTHING like the picture. I got a HOT MESS! Looked more like a swamp with a ONE EYED frog-like white blob in the middle of some cabbage'ish like filler with deep dark burgundy flowers that looked like they were left over from Halloween or a funeral for that matter and some long dark purple flowers sticking out of the sides like weeds. To top it off it was shoved into a cheap crappy basket and filled with MOSS!!!! Wtf?!!! WHO DOES THAT?!!!!! When I called they said they would have a new arrangement sent same day before 5pm precisely as pictured with the polka dotted ceramic gift as pictured. (Not sure why that didn't happen the first time but gave them the benefit of the doubt.) 5:45pm rolled around and no delivery. No calls. I called back only to find out they closed at 4pm! Hilarious. LIARS. So disgusted I could vomit. To make matters worse this was a surprise birthday gift for my Regional Manager and turned out to be the office JOKE! Ugh,....Never again,... if you like to waste money come to Community Flowers in Munhall, P.A. or you could just toss it in the toilet and flush. Either way,.... save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else. I will be calling in the a.m. So unprofessional. Product should be sold as listed. If you make a commitment to a customer you should follow through & take ownership. Inexcusable. Disastrous customer service. "Arrangement" was a reflection of your product & service. PURE CRAP. Stick to funeral arrangements. The dead won't notice. Thanks for nothing! read more

this place does not even deserve one star!!!!!!! my father passed away in july, so to make my mom happy, i ordered flowers to be sent to her for their 65th anniversary in november. the wrong type of flowers as well as the wrong color flowers were sent to my mother in the wrong basket and a brown handle was taped to a white basket. when my mom picked up the basket, the pathetic so-called handle broke off. the balloons that were attached to the broken handle were also wilted. when i reached out to this company immediately, their text back to me was, "awesome! enjoy" i then called my credit card company to explain that i paid $86.00 for this "disaster" so they reached out to this company getting no response back. my credit card company then sent them a written letter asking for their response. i was given a copy of their response. they actually lied and said they spoke to me. that they reached out to me to resolve this situation and that i refused to send them a picture of the basket!!!!!! then they said i just hung up!!!!!! what liars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so my moms special day was ruined by this awful company. luckily, after seeing my pictures of the pathetic broken basket and knowing what happened to me and my mom, my credit card company, capital one, credited my card for the full amount. don't give them any business!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more
