I wish to highly commend Pam Gile for customer service I received this morning. She listened to my concerns and personally directed me to the correct website portal and took the time to walk me through the process of registering our Household for 2025. She was a delight to talk to and went the extra mile to make sure our questions were answered. Additionally she discovered a late fee which had been incorrectly applied to our account in March of last year. She initiated an email to the accounting department to reverse the one time late fee. I had a billing issue and initially contacted our HOA manager. She asked that I email her a request and that she would take care of it. After 10 days without a response or update, I contacted Common Interest again. I was lucky enough to get Customer Service Representative Meds Reynoso. Meds listened attentively to my explanation of the issue, checked my account, evaluated what was going on, advised my on what I needed to do and what she was going to do to resolve the problem. She was very thorough and knowledgeable in getting to the solution of the problem. read more

Clerical staff & the manager have put several residents in collections & foreclosure because of their clerical errors. There are 2 Homeowners Associations, but for 3 years the new Master Association did not have the same info as HOA #1 & didn't bother to obtain current billing address from HOA #1. Consequently charging exorbitant charges & lawyer's fees because of their inefficiency. And going to an "executive meeting" was a farce. No info was even given or known by them as to where billing was sent to. Where's the humanity. read more

Common Interest continues to suck. Residents in my community park on the sidewalk, front lawns and park sideways on their driveways. They do not enforce their guidelines. They removed garbage cans from the community park for no obvious reason. They removed a tree from my front yard without notifying me and destroyed my front lawn. read more

I have been messaging and calling but don't get correct information. I have emailed pictures and very detailed information, but still get told the wrong information. I called and no one called me back as promised. A week later and I called again. This time I got Caselyn Dannang. She would not let me hang up until she resolved my issue. Not impressed so far. I've made three attempts to get in contact with our service representative and I can't seem to get a call back.

Worst HOA experience our community and myself have experienced ever - 1. Very poor communication/ responsiveness 2. Lack of action & responsibility for community issues 3. Extremely poor customer service. Very inexperienced with addressing community issues 4. ... all while increasing our community's HOA dues (higher HOA dues than previous, better HOA). Aside from continuing to increase dues frequently, it's honestly hard to say what things, positive or otherwise, this "management company" has done for our community. Homeowners had contacted CIMS regarding a community issue over a month ago. There has been no update and no real response about what will be done about this problem. Multiple emails have been sent to follow with zero reply. Extremely unprofessional and inexperienced with addressing issues requiring action. I have worked with a number of different HOA management companies over the years, and this is by far the WORST AND MOST UNHELPFUL HOA management company I've ever experienced. read more

Had some confusion with the HOA regarding weeds in the garden planter. The issue was corrected and the HOA was not aware of the correction. Deanna with Common Interest was a great help in getting this resolved. She was professional - and did a great job. What does Common Interest do? They do not look into complaints, actually visit the sites or enforce the HOA requirements. We have homes with over grown bushes and weeds, and no fences that allows people to see a dirt and weed filled backyard. There are cars that have expired licenses from 2020 with weeds growing under them and rats running under the cars, and homes that have had up to 6-10 cars parked all over the street and on corners. Common Interest manages another development in Stockton which is considered upscale, and believe me they make sure all those residences are following the association rules and regulations. read more

What a joke we have rules that state vendors 9 AM up she's trying to say not for the association just for the homeowners that's not true I've been here since 1984 and it's never been that way! I pay my dues 15 days ahead and I mail it in and it shows that they cashed the check and now they're trying to give me late fees and assessments on my bill by the way I wasn't even receiving statements! Now I'm receiving statements with high payments avoid these people at all cost they're the worst of the worst get anyone else if you have them fire them and change she's not any better than the one that we had one thing they've continuously taught me don't have property management or HOA's read more

We have been using Common Interest for years and they have been very reliable and know their business. Adrianne and her assistants have always been quick to respond and address anything that needs to be addressed. I highly recommend this company. Our association recently switched from Associa to Common Interest. We are very disappointed. Within a week they raised our association dues, without informing the owners. Now the trash has not been picked up in a week. I mean their is garbage everywhere! I have called the health Dept. and the city to inform them of the health risk. Everyday they say they will take care of it. It seems the garbage bill wasn't paid because of an accounting errorl What incompetence! read more

Horrible!! You would think living in a gated community that your living experience would be a little more private, and little less noisy.. Nope!! I don't get why I pay this association dues when they hardly take care of our community. The speeding that happens is so bad, we have a speed limit of 10 and most if not everybody does 30+ and disregards the speed bumps. We don't have side walks and have to fear that one of these careless drivers will run us over. I tried to complain about the drivers who speeds, and they say they will take care of it, but never do or get back to you on the situation. We had such a high end private patrol that would go around and cite cars that were parked on the road after hours, then they downgraded that and got us the cheapest, low quality, low budget security you could find. (Limit Less Blue Skies Security) I mean I literally watch the security drive by my house with her head completely stuck looking down at her phone while speeding over speed bumps. We have a careless HOA, that hired an even more careless private patrol. read more

Once again Common Interest has intentionally held my check that I glhand delivered to their office on august 27 and tried to claim it wasn't received until September 22. Once again adding a late fee. I thought they were incompetent but this is intentional. I have paid late fees seven times because they hold my checks almost every single month. Stay away from these people. They are doing this as a standard practice. They want to force us to pay to use their service online or they conveniently claim payments are late. This company is a scam and ripping people off. They are also lousy at management because since weve had them nothing is being repaired or addressed and I've heard vendors won't work with them cause they don't pay or take long to pay. I live in Cape Cottages at this time but do plan in moving as soon as the the housing market goes down. When I do I am going to make sure I Do Not get an HOA with this company managing it. Today I called their office (209) 507-7850 numerous time to speak with Yvette Montano. It took numerous calls and finally the receptionist picked up. After waiting on line about 5 minutes, she returned to the phone to say she was busy. Then I asked to speak to Tracy Fuquo and again the reception returns to the phone to tell me she is busy too. They both was informed of the reason of my call, but both refused to accept my call. I had received a Courtesy letter for a Vehicle Violation, which was based on false information. Yvette and or Tracy relayed to the receptionist that it is only a Courtesy Letter and just respond to it on line. I guess they just throw out these letters and expect me to just conform to their drums. Nope, I will not! Unfortunately, it appears this company is as much prejudice as the community I am living in. Since the letter I received was sent by them, I will fill out a complaint with The Better Business Bureau. I know they will have time to address my concern. read more

I received a text from a homeowner at 10:00P.M. about a car crashing through an outside brick fence. I sent our manager a text with pictures at 7:30 A.M. Before 8:30 a construction crew arrived and was cleaning up the mess created by the crash. They also put up a temporary fence to give the owner some privacy. An estimate is in the works, insurance company has been contacted and the police report retrieved. In the five years that I have been on the board, I have never had such excellent service from a management company. read more
