1 Star -- Extremely Disappointing Experience…read more I was instructed by my insurance company to get three plumbing bids, so I contacted this company for an estimate. The plumber came to my home and spent approximately 20 minutes inside. He told me his bidding app was not working and said he would go back to the office and email the estimate to me. I took him at his word. The next day, when I called because I still had not received the bid, I was told that he "didn't even want to come in the house because there were too many plumbers." That statement is simply not consistent with what happened. There were NO other plumbers at my house when he arrived. He came inside, spent about 20 minutes here, and specifically told me he would send the estimate after returning to the office. If the company did not want the job or did not intend to provide a bid, they should have simply said so. Instead, I was given one explanation in person and a completely different explanation the next day. I find this kind of communication unprofessional, misleading, and a waste of my time. I was only trying to follow my insurance company's instructions and obtain the required three bids. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this company. A professional company should be able to communicate honestly and stand behind what its employees tell customers.

Also known as "Lake LBJ" plumbing. Excellent service, knowledgeable master & journeyman plumbers,…read morefriendly. We had them install a water heater years ago, and very recently (January, 2025) had them install two new toilets, flush the water heaters and replace three older toilet water valves (the small water shutoff on the wall behind the toilets). They worked with us with advice, then arrived very promptly when our toilets (which we ordered ourselves) arrived. There were a couple of small glitches, both of which were fixed with a smile within 24 hours. The plumber ("Brendan") was considerate and cleaned the site before he left. The prices are "retail," but the VALUE is in the job well done, by fully-certified plumbers rather.

Mike Krische Plumbing was assigned by a home warranty company to replace a Pressure Reducing Valve…read moreon my home. Less than 1 year later, it has failed. I discovered he used a plastic part instead of the recommended metal (so he could pocket more money of course). When I called to ask if he could honor a 1 year warranty, he refused. He told me that plastic parts are what he uses exclusively and that failure after 1 year is common. Unless you want inferior parts that will fail, do not use Mike Krischke Plumbing.
