This place is a joke, it took me over a month working with a Care Companion to find this place…read more First I call them after getting their info from my Care Companion (mind you my son is autistic and this facility came up as a fit) the receptionist tells me they don't handle or work with autistic kids. So then completely uncertain of what to do next or who to talk to the receptionist tells me she can set up an appt with a therapist to give me some guidance or let me know of steps available to me so I can get my son into behavioral therapy. When it comes to appointment time I am told to sit down and fill out this paperwork while I wait. The paperwork is at least 60 pages long, all asking me questions regarding my sons behavior and ticks etc... Along with all the trauma questions they have to ask. It goes on about 1 hour and half of waiting and I am still not done filling out the paperwork. We finally get called into the back and I find out they are actually enrolling us and opening up a case for us but yet they don't treat autistic kids??!! When we get paired with what I think is a therapist, it turns out she is "technically" unlicensed and there to fulfill her time served till she becomes licensed. I have no problem with people earning their degrees or interning, however my son's issues need work or treatment therapy sessions started right away. Her communication skills need drastic improvement, cause what I wasn't aware of at the time of the first "appointment" was there was going to be 4-5 appts just to assess my son before treatment was even set up. I don't understand this either because my son comes with a 65 page IEP report that explains exactly who he is which they had a copy of. So instead of telling me this before hand she just keeps scheduling appts with me having me go across town just to sit down with her and my son in a room playing with toys for a half hour asking me the questions I already answered in their 60 pages of documentation. All the same trauma questions on if my son has ever been left alone with someone just released from jail etc....mind you we are going on 4 appointments of these questions and I am finally asking questions like what are we doing here? She explains that we are still in the assessment stage and the next appointment that we make will actually be a 1 hour full treatment appt. That was a lie it was another 30 minutes assessment appt. In this time my schedule changed cause I got a new job after being unemployed and actively looking for work for over a year, i explained that I am on a contract job for only 2 months and need them to work with me in regards to either setting up video appts for the sessions missed or just postponing his therapy until Feb 28th when my contract is up. She then proceeds to tell me "Well we can't do that, it will interfere with your son's treatment" WHAT TREATMENT?!!! I am going on 5 appts and his therapy hasn't even started?!! I left that appt knowing in my head I was never going back. Today I got the letter saying they are terminating my son's service or case saying how they tried to get ahold of me and I never replied or answered back. No where in this letter does it say the number of times I had to call them to reschedule appointments cause their therapist all the sudden called out that day or was just sick. There was at least 2-3 times I had to be told at the last minute that our appt was being cancelled cause the therapist was out for the day or sick. Oh and the therapist called a total of 2 times after that last appointment. Guess 2 times is enough for them to try to contact you for them to drop you off their list. With all that being said it is safe to say I will not be going back.

(they don't specialize in autism I don't think, but either way she was able to figure it out. Nicole is the only person in four years that has listened to my concerns about my son and has finally opened the doors to give him the treatment and therapy he needs. Found something crazy to complain about and framed it as if I'm dangerous and irresponsible. I have straight A's and a masters degree in business. I own two properties. I make six figures 2 times over. I cherished my cat she was like a child to me. We played for hours. I would have traded everything I own to get her back. She dies and here I am day 5, 8+ hours filling out online applications. These rescues/shelters don't even get back to you. They just use the applications to get tax dollars, and keep the animals to weaponize the 501C3 not-for-profit as a donation tool. Go to Tustin, see how many animals they have. 25 million dollar facility and they have 25 kittens and 3 cats. Where do the thousands of animals off the street go? Do they kill them in the back? I swore years ago I would never deal with another shelter or rescue years ago. At one point I gave up and it was over a year before I eventually adopted my little love. Now here we are, these filthy beaurocrats serving themselves and acting the broker of power. Don't use these organizations. They are a complete waste of time. Adopt privately -Sean Clarke
