They are quick to offer samples which are Chili, chilli dip with crackers, and pepper jelly. You expect a bowl of the dip sitting on a table for you to graze a single cracker through like many places who offer samples but they serve it up in little sample cups so you get 3 or 4 little bites to enjoy the product. Location is easy to find and plenty of parking. They have a small area with plenty of products. They offer all of their food mixes in various sizes, gift bundles, kitchen and chili accessories, local gifts, and a few tee shirts. It's a small but adequate selection so you are sure to find something to enjoy when you get home.

From my table, I had a clear view straight into the kitchen and unfortunately, what I saw didn't give me confidence. The cook left his phone sitting on the prep table, then put chewing tobacco (or possibly a Zyn) in his mouth before making food without washing his hands. On top of that, he looked like he might have pink eye, which was concerning to watch. Service was also slow. It took a while to get a server's attention, even though the restaurant wasn't busy at the time. I really wanted to enjoy this place because the concept is great, but cleanliness and attentiveness need to be taken more seriously. With some improvements, this spot could be much better.

They were friendly and courteous and checked on us frequently. I ordered the wedge salad and pretzel bites with beer cheese. The salad was great. It was fresh and the perfect size. The bleu cheese dressing was creamy and so delicious. The pretzel bits were as expected, and the cheese had good flavor, but was warm not hot. It was a little chunky, but I still ate it all. LOL! The in-laws ordered the nachos. They are not your traditional nachos. You get a choice of meat, brisket or pulled pork. They chose brisket. And you get to choose between fries or pork rinds and they chose pork rinds. They liked them. I didn't try them. They also liked the duck wontons. Hubby had the pulled pork sandwich and fries. It was pretty good. I loved the fries. I think they were hand cut, but I could be wrong. We had a great dinner!
