Commerce Payments System's Customer service is atrocious. While the reps are nice, you are on hold for at least 45 minutes every time you call and then most of the time you are transferred to someone else because they can't help you. The underwriting department doesn't check their email so you have to call in and remind them that you responded then they go find your email or pretend they never got it. I was told when i signed up that everything would be done in 24-48 hours and it was a super easy and straightforward process. Literally 1 month later I'm still on the phone with them for about an hour every couple days in order to try and get the funds transferred to my bank that have been sitting in nowhere land for the last month. And i finally today, after an hour and a half on the phone got my account fully functional so i can swipe cards now as well. If only i could get the money into my bank account now... Unless you like to waste a lot of time, i would steer clear of this company. read more

RUN, Run as fast as you can from this rip off scam. Over billing, hidden charges, poor customer service, false promises and wait wait and wait for phone service, refunds that never appear. DO NOT sign up to this company and if you have, lock your bank account and demand a cancellation form get it to them with certification, get in touch with BBB to get any funds back,.... and good luck. The worst company I have ever had to deal with in 40 years of business. read more

This place is absolutely terrible. Cannot believe I stuck with them for so long. In the process of holding right now with the LOUDEST hold music. I now have a headache! Trying to get the address to send back the terminal that I leased from them now that I finally switched to Merchant Services. Merchant Services is AWESOME! They will make sure everything is taken care of to your satisfaction. They do not pass you to someone else then to someone else and then say you will need to call another person back at another time. Very frustrating dealing with Commerce. read more

This company is horrible to deal with. Stay away. We tried to cancel our processing with them in January. Starting in April, we began getting charged $99 inactivity fee. Charged $75 again in May and $74 again in June. They are impossible to deal with and very rude. I have never dealt with a company who's CUSTOMER SERVICE was so horrible. read more

This company is an absolute fraud!!!!!! I used this company and with my first credit card charge this company has ripped me off for over 140.00 already. I am still waiting on a payment of 120.00 from 2 weeks ago. When I called I was told I was not "validated" yet and needed a whole bunch of documentation in order to give me my money. I provided the information requested within 15 mins and was told it needed to go to another part of company to be processed and should have money deposited within 24 to 48 hrs. After 3 days I called again and was again told they needed more documentation. At this point I knew I was getting ripped off and would never see my money, however I again, provided them with information they requested. Over a week later I am still waiting for my money and every time I call I get the run around. I also checked my bank statements and they are taking money out of my account for "fees" that were not valid and I was told would not exist at all. I am sure I will never get my money but I will be sure to tell everyone I can not to use these people. They will charge you fees , never give you money that is owed to you , and just continue to give you a run around. TOTAL SCAM! !!!!! read more

If I could give a lower rating, I would. Opened account over 3 weeks ago, still not getting the funds they collect from my customers into my bank account. The outright lied when they told me it would only take 24 hours to do this, then claim that the 24 hour set up window was actually for the application process. Nice try, the website states that its only a 2 hour application process and approval window. They keep finding new requirements to underwrite my account, including a request to see a license to manufacture ammunition. I don't even sell ammunition! It states that on my online store, in my operating agreement, and in numerous conversations with them... not to mention on the application! They even called the ATF on my business. Why? because I threatened to call the NY State Attorney General on them if they don't follow through with the process and turn the funds over that they collected from my customers. They should be investigated for fraud, false advertising, and falsely reporting activity to a federal enforcement agency. PNC will be working with me from now on. Don't walk away from this company, RUN! read more
