Highly recommend!

This location in Shawnee is one that we use at my current place of worship (Journey Community Church). I have to say, despite the ostentatious-sounding name, Country Club Bank has left me with the feeling of that old, family-friendly, neighborhood bank time and again. They are very nice people, easy to work with, and even remember my face for the infrequent times that I happen to walk in and actually need something. Not a lot of red-tape or trying to act like they are some big-player in the banking world. If I lived a little closer, I would make this my personal bank, as well, and invite anyone who does live close to check them out. They sure beat the service I have received at Commerce Bank or UMB.

The reason I love this location is because they have a fabulous employee, ERICA! Erica is absolutely a joy to work with and probably one of the most competent and resourceful bank employees that I have dealt with for my banking needs. I grew up in a banking family and Erica is bar none my favourite banker that I have dealt with outside of my family. She gets you taken care of,usually by going the extra mile, quickly as well as exceptionally cheerfully. I so appreciate her competence, professionalism as well as her most enjoyable charm. On a scale of 1to5 I give her a 6! Erica is a jewel!

TLDR: do NOT use Arvest for a mortgage- THEY LOST MY MONEY!…read more I went through Arvest for my mortgage because of past business relationships with them, and the assurances they gave that they do NOT sell or transfer their mortgage loans. WRONG! They have decided to outsource my mortgage, only 5 years after origination, and in their brilliance decided to do this over the HOLIDAY! I had already made my December payment (via auto pay electronically, just as I have for the past 5 years) when they notified me of the change. I called and asked about it, and they assured me that my payment would be processed and applied to my loan before it got sent to the new bank. Now, here it is 10 days later, and they still have not processed my payment, nor can they even FIND it! The money has been taken out of my bank account as if they received the payment, but they have not applied it to my loan and told me they "don't have the payment." They won't investigate it, telling me to go back to my bank and have them investigate it themselves. Meanwhile, my loan is being sent to the new provider WITHOUT a record of my last payment since Arvest "did not receive it" (even though they did because the money was taken out of my bank account). So, I am now out $1100 for my originally made payment that ARVEST CAN'T FIND, as well as having to come up with ANOTHER $1100 to pay the new company so I am not behind in my loan, until SOMEONE can figure out what Arvest has done with money!
