We worked with Jake to find the best HVAC system for our needs. The quote was fair and the installation crew of Derek and Monty were courteous , knowledgeable and left my basement area spotless. Really happy with this company. We've used them for annual HVAC checkups on furnace and air-conditioner. Just this week we called for service because we discovered our furnace was leaking a good deal of water. Jake, the technician, arrived within an hour Monday morning and diagnosed the problem. Our 18 year old furnace needed a new heat exchanger - it was cracked. We got pricing for a new heat exchanger alone or a new furnace. We opted for the whole shebang. New furnace was installed that Friday by Marty & Derek. Took around 4 hours. They were courteous and respectful, did not talk down to me as a woman (which I have experienced with other HVAC companies such as TopTec). Thank you Command Service. I have been using Command Service for all my HVAC and appliance repair for the last 15 years. There is no need to look anywhere else. These guys are honest, knowledgeable, and just plain great to work with. I think it's very important that they do the seasonal check for the air conditioning and the heating units. It doesn't mean something might not break during the season, but it's really like an oil change for the house. I also love their honesty. When I've called them to look at a repair on an appliance, they will honestly tell me whether it should be repaired or just replaced. Highly recommended company. read more

Our furnace went out yesterday, and by 10:30 this morning, Fernando was at the house. This company (and Fernando) are excellent! My mom has been using them for over 10 years - our neighbor has been using them for almost 15 if that tells you right away how we feel about them! Not knowing a whole lot about furnaces in general, he could have charged us any amount and we wouldn't have known any better, but the price was incredibly reasonable. Fernando is very friendly, professional, and did a great job explaining what the problem was as he was (we have animals and the inside of the big metal piece - see? I know nothing about furnaces or the parts lol - was completely clogged with animal hair. The tiny vents were literally plugged up with hair). Simple fix, showed us how to do it ourselves as yearly maintenance and done! We will DEFINITELY share this company's name! Excellent customer service! read more

They have always been excellent in the cleaning and maintenance of the 27 year old furnace and 10 year old AC coil and condenser. Because of a cracked heat exchanger I needed a new furnace. Coming back to the "polar vortex" from our vacation in Florida, we discovered that our condo was 57 degrees - no heat! Command Service came out to our condo the day of our call. Our usual technician, Fernando did some quick troubleshooting and immediately zoned in on the problem. Within an hour, our condo was warm and cozy, and we could stop swearing about not being in Florida any more! We were really pleased with their quick service call. We are a 1st time customer and will differently be calling them back and referring them to our friends. Jeff check the furnace and found a very large nest in the chimney, and a rotten "flue" pipe. Got heat back on for the day, then came back next day and replaced the flue pipe. Service is excellent, very polite and professional. Showed me the nest it was huge and the pipe he replaced. That is very important to see what was causing the problem.
