My only complaint is that this one time we called and the man on the phone said the cab will be there in 15 minutes and they will call us back once they arrive. Almost 30 minutes past so we called the cab company and the man was being a complete jerk ( the most appropriate word I will call him ) and he said that he never said that they would call us and that the cab has been waiting their for 10 minutes. Gave me this attitude as if it was my fault and was yelling at me. This man is a complete moron and needs to be fired. However the others have been totally fine with us. I do recommend this company, but if you guys get that some idiot that we called then just simply brush it off. Other cab companies charge way too much and rip you off but not this company.

He…read moresaid he could do it and arrange pickup and we would still have plenty of space for luggage and a stroller. Driver showed up in a minivan with the car seats. Smooth and safe drive despite all the construction on the Kennedy and we arrived on time. Driver helped unload and made sure we had everything. They took CC through their phone app with a tap and I got an emailed receipt. I also booked them coming back and told them we needed the same setup. Sal was responsive and made sure the driver was there. Our flight was delayed but the driver was still there. Same charge and great driver with the car seats strapped in by the fire department. They were rock solid.

Taxi rate calculators estimated $7-$9 for the ride, so I expected similar cost. We the called back to confirm a car on the way, they took payment. To my surprise it was $36. A second surprise came when the car picking me up was an Uber. So apparently, they used my $36 to book me an $8 Uber ride. The Uber driver was also surprised.

I give my experience with Park Ridge Taxi 5 stars because it couldn't have gone any better. I'm…read morereally surprised by the previous reviews and glad that I read them AFTER my experience with Park Ridge Taxi. I've used Chicago city taxis in the past for transportation between home and O'Hare and can say that I have not been particularly happy with the service or cleanliness of the taxis, especially the awful experience of having to wait in the city taxi line at O'Hare. I recently moved from Chicago to Park Ridge so I thought I would give Park Ridge Taxi a try this past weekend for taxi service from home to O'Hare. The phone agents were pleasant and efficient. My taxi pick-up from home arrived right at the time I requested if not a couple of minutes early. The driver who took me to O'Hare was great. His taxi was clean and he advised me of how to request a Park Ridge taxi when I returned and where to wait for suburban taxi service. When I landed back at O'Hare and deplaned, I called Park Ridge taxi and was told it would be a 10 minute wait. So by the time I made it through the terminal and down to the suburban taxi stand, the taxi drove right up. This driver was also very nice and had a very clean taxi. The charge seemed comparable to me to what I would pay using a city taxi service so no problem there with feeling I had been overcharged. Would definitely use Park Ridge Taxi again!

So I called these guys;I was also a bit agitated, so when the guy said right down the street and then 10 minutes later, I was alittle annoyed. But when the yellow caprice rolled up, it became an enjoyable experience. The driver, Tom, was quite a chatty driver, and made the experience quite enjoyable. A former solider with the Army, we talked alittle shop among other things like politics; I guess my point is, he made my stress diminish alittle with his friendly and professional posture and made me think I would call for a cab next time vs taking the bus. The cab itself was clean, and there seemed to be good comeraderie as he ran into a fellow driver there and it was a pleasant exchange.
