Here we go the Thursday before Easter weekend 2021.. I paid $217.06 in CASH for this horrid hotel. They had a sign up at the front desk that said that they did NOT accept chime, cash app and a few other visa debit cards. But they went ahead and charged it $250 and had the nerve to say it was an "authorization charge". It NEVER dropped off. The service was so terrible that I left my trip a day early. The rude snotty white girl with glasses and sweatpants on at work, had the nerve to tell me I wasn't getting a refund in cash even though that's how I paid? ??? So I wait until Tuesday because of Easter weekend to the call the "manager", and would you believe this man told me and my husband to shut our mouths over the phone and that we were going to listen to him over money that they owed us? He literally was so disgusting and unprofessional how did he know he wasn't being recorded? This hotel is FRAUDULENT , they kept trying to charge my card as shown in the pictures below, multiple different amounts and different days, I had to turn that card off the whole trip! I literally had to drain that bank account. I even disputed the transaction with my bank like the manager had the nerve to tell me to do, and then stated that even called my bank to tell them the transaction was unauthorized and they denied my dispute?! No I don't think so.. So now I'll be driving 10 hours from North Carolina to get over $300 that I'm owed. From the money that was taken from my card, to the night that I'm owed for checking out early. This places back door is broken. So anyone could stay the night free with the lazy employees. There's a swastika engraved into the hotel Elevator and apparently nobody was trained in customer service or hospital! It's really unbelievable the way I was spoken to and I hope he has the same energy and calls my husband a "mam" in front of his face when we return. Save the headaches and the need to have to order new cards because of this fraudulent shiesty "company" I will be also reaching out to customer relations, and as high up as I can go. My husband I stayed at the hotel on 2-18-22 and after staying there I had 3 pending charges on my bank account totaling 448 dollars for 1 night stay.The carpet was stained the window cracked and the hotel has still yet to contact me in regards to my complaint. They claim there is no charges on my bank account for 448. I contacted the general manager and have gotten no response I contacted corporate and they said I would be refunded and it still hasn't been 7 days later. The furniture is outdated and stained the room smelt musty as well. The people I spoke to refuse to fix the issue. It was first time staying at this hotel and I will never go there again. Ripped me off and haven't made it right.. I work hard for My money and to be ripped off and ignored by hotel is b.s.. They should be shut down. Dirty! Rugs stained. Pulled out the sofa bed in room mattress was stained and filled with dog hair it was disgusting, complained to the front desk they were extremely nice and apologetic and changed out room. The next room the carpet was better, but again pulled out the bed from the sofa and it was covered in crumbs and also stained. Went here for my anniversary this past weekend. The lady that checked us in was very polite. Got our room keys went to the room. Just like normal. I had to use the bathroom so I did. When I did, the bathroom door barely shut the toilet was also very difficult to flush. When I walked out of the room I began to notice other things wrong with the place. Carpet stained everywhere, wallpaper falling off the walls, stained couch, dirty table, rug near jacuzzi was ripped. This place also had such a weird scent to it, almost smelled like mildew. We had an issue today about reservations we were overcharged AMBER LIED multiple times that the manger was not on the premises and have not been here till tomorrow morning. 5 min later we saw the manger the manger finally after much time wasted at this hotel we have extreme stupidity here. We went to Comfort Suites as we had a death in the family and was looking for a hotel near Endicott. We entered the hotel and waited in the lobby for 5 minutes and no one was around. Then my husband and I started saying hello in hopes someone would answer. When no one came my husband called the hotel and a women answered, he said we were in the lobby and would like to check in. We then waited another 5 minutes, at this time I took out by drivers license and charge card. Finally, a women came behind the desk (I asked her name later and found out it was Amber). She didn't say Hello, sorry for the wait, welcome anything...she said name as if she was annoyed, then took my drivers license off the counter and I assume used it for check in, not a word from her. She then put the license down. I looked at her and said "are we having a bad day", she still didn't say a word. She took my credit card, not a word. Oh yes she spoke when the phone rang, but said she had a customer and put them on hold. Then complained the the computer was slow..lol Then said initial here,here,here,sign here..inside put you type of car print and sign here. OMG the customer service here Amazing... Then she started telling us about the facilities, I finally looked and said we will not be using them, we are here for a night. Very nice place. The rooms are real classy with flat screen tvs AND HD CHANNELS!!! (it's channels 800 and up) and the BED IS SUPER COMFY! The rooms have a full sized bed, table, desk, tv, fridge, microwave, free wifi and couch. Definitely something equating to the master bedroom in upscale suburban house. there is a small pool about 4 feet deep and you can't exactly do laps here. If Michael Phelps sat on one side and dove in, he'd reach the other side without stroking. you probably would too. there's a fitness center with a bike, elliptical, treadmill and a weight machine. has what you would need. free breakfast in the lower level common area. waffles, hot fast food like sausage, ham, fake eggs, cereal and bread. two free house computers for you to use in the lobby. They're pretty decent, no where near slow. good place to stay! read more

Still like new and kept very clean. Suite had two COMFORTABLE Queen beds and a pull out sofa. I loved how the clerk at the desk said you are all set, I put you in a room facing away from the highway! Most places give you the worst view first then if you complain they change it. I liked having the good sized refrigerator and a microwave even if we didn't use it much. The kids loved the free wifi. The work out room was modern and clean with a huge window facing the indoor pool. It's close to Friendly's, Khols, Target and Walmart. Hotel is larger than it looks in the photo! read more

If I could give this hotel zero stars I would. When arriving in the room with my two children, I noticed the sheets had blood stains on them. The bathroom door had poop on it. When I contacted the from desk to notify the staff I was greeted with a rude front desk attendant. The management was uncooperative and did nothing to resolve the situation. We stayed here for 2 nights and spent over $300.00! Finally the manager offered to reimburse me $60.00 which is nothing compared to the money we spent. read more

If I could leave 0 or negative stars I would. This past Saturday My wife and I stayed at this hotel. (Should have done more research) we were in town for a wedding. We checked in around 3:30pm and by 4pm I went to the front desk to report that we were missing sheets on the bed and pillows. The lady at the front seat was rude and said if we didn't like the room we could go stay somewhere else. Unfortunately my room was not refundable at that point. So we had left to attend the wedding and when we got back the room was in the same condition. At that point it was well after 11pm and they were not willing to do anything for us. The following morning we check out and leave to come back to South Carolina. Once our flight landed I noticed they charged my card for an additional $225. I called to find out why they said that we stole sheets and a pillow. I informed them that I reported them as not being in the room. She told me she would check with house keeping to see if they were in the room. She came back and said yes they were there and no one left a note stating any different so there is nothing that could be done and hung up. DO NOT STAY THERE THEY WILL STEAL MONEY OFF OF YOUR CARD AND DO NOTHING TO HELP YOU! read more

We had a wonderful experience here. The rooms were very clean, large, well appointed and up to date. Two Queen beds and a pull out couch in our room for about $150. We stayed in one room with my sister and brother in law w/ their 3 kids 6 and under, and two of my kids a 2 yr old and 1 yr old. As many of us as there were it was extremely comfortable. Definitely the BEST continental breakfast I've had; the waffles are a nice touch, but they also have some kind of hot egg dish daily, which is better than most places offered. We all loved the swimming pool, shallow enough for the little ones to enjoy too! The front desk was very friendly and made us feel welcome in spite of all of our noisy children. One minus: When we were coming into town, the front desk was not able to offer accurate driving directions from 81 S. Their directions got me turned around and cost me about a half an hour. Requested a crib on the reservation, which was booked directly through them a month in advance. When we arrived we were told there'd be a crib in the room. No crib. Called and the front desk person said she'd bring it right down. No crib. Meanwhile our baby was overtired and had nowhere to sleep. Finally got another phone call from the front desk saying they gave away all of their cribs already! What exactly were we supposed to do in that situation?? I can understand running out of cribs if we hadn't requested in advance, but the least we should have received was a courtesy phone call or email noting that there were no cribs so we didn't have an exhausted baby sleeping unsafely on a king sized bed. read more

Although this is *just* a motel, inexpensive, right by the road, my family and I were very happy with our stay. The staff was helpful, cheerful and always available. Rooms, while standard, were clean and comfortable. We had 2 rooms next to each other, each with an additional sofa bed. There is a breakfast buffet included that is better than you expect. My family and I are currently staying at the Comfort Suites in Vestal, NY from Saturday- Monday (some until Tuesday) for family event on Monday. We make up most of the 3rd floor of the hotel. Our suite is large and clean and that's the ONLY 2 reasons I am giving 2 stars. My family has had several issues with the front desk staff over the course of the last 24 hours from keys not working, 25 minutes after check in (which was around 11:30 and not the least bit busy) to get a crib sent up that was on reservation, to my 15 month daughter's wrist getting caught in the automatic entry door and the "supposed manager" on duty at the time laughed when my husband first went to talk to him about it and find out why a sensor didn't pick up on. However when more family arrived today, they had issues upon checking in. They were told their check in was last night!?!? No, they were very clear upon making reservation, that they were never coming up last night. My aunt was visibly upset and in tears at front desk. She was speaking with front desk staff named Amber. (I was told by other family members that Amber had been very helpful changing reservations for my mother in law to come 1 day earlier when a manager was unhelpful several days prior to us checking in). Amber said she could not change or have the ability to refund the money back. So naturally, my aunt asked to speak with a manager. Amber told my aunt that there was no manager on duty. Meanwhile, the man standing next to Amber, was the "supposed manager" that laughed when my 15 month tot got her wrist stuck in entrance doors of hotel lobby, was suddenly NOT the manager any more!?!?!? Both refused the refund and my aunt walked away very upset, confused and crying. It took my brother in law to go down and speak with the "manager" on duty and resolved the issue rather quickly. This was the same dude who was there the entire time and didn't offer to diffuse the situation with my aunt. I mean, we are making up most of the rooms booked on the 3rd floor for multiple days. Not sure why a "manager" running a hotel chain would let a situation escalate to the point of my poor aunt getting so so upset and further more, not quite sure why Amber would be so dishonest and tell my aunt that there was no manager on duty???? Makes little sense and my family is very upset over the situation. Of course there are little things here and there that come up but no need to be disgraceful, unsympathetic and just fix a very possible booking error on hotel's end when booking was made over the phone and confirmed. Breakfast was ok at best. Not a lot of food out by 9:15 and we had to ask several times for trays to be refilled and restocked. No one was checking. We had to go into the kitchen and ask. Maybe when hotel is much busier than usual on Memorial Day Weekend, you would have 1-2 people staffing the breakfast and not make children wait 10 minutes to get a small cup of whole milk or eggs. I hope the remainder of our stay goes far better than the 1st half of our stay. read more

Horrible stay there for 2 nights. The jacuzzi didn't work the first night, so they said they would have their maintenance guy fix it and only charge us for a standard night rate. Upon arrival of the second night we came back to a dirty jacuzzi with sitting water that wouldn't drain. We brought this to the attention of the front desk and were told they would once again only charge us for a standard room rate. Upon review of my bank statement they only fixed the first nights stay and charged us for the Jacuzzi suite night in the 2nd night. I def would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

The staff at this location need to be schooled in customer service at the very least... They were very rude. From the front desk clerk (woman) to the girl who stocks the breakfast dining room. The front desk person was annoyed when we checked in at 10pm; she was huffing and puffing as if we were bothering her she wouldn't even make eye contact. Then we get to our room and one of the two queen beds sheets clearly had not been changed. There were a few hairs in the sheets and crumbs of some sort on top of the blanket. We called the front desk and were told that there was no staff available to change our sheets. There were also two hairs on the toilet seat, so apparently the cleaning people are not doing their job either. The girl servicing the breakfast dining room was extremely rude and useless. I simply asked her if she was going replenish the breakfast buffet at 8:30am (since all of the eggs, breads, syrup, coffee were empty), and she replied in a nasty tone " I'm only one person, honey" ... I would not recommend this place, There are plenty of other hotels in the area. read more

Terrible experience overall. When we arrived on a Saturday night there was only one desk clerk with no manager available, she even tried to call but no response. The desk clerk said that the manager would adjust my bill in the morning since there was a mistake in the room fee from what was agreed to online. In the morning the manager refused to refund me the $30 overcharge and was quite rude about it. In a very unprofessional move he finally agreed to refund me but said he would take it from the desk clerks pay. I told him that under no circumstances did I want the refund to come from her so I declined. Beside that the room looked like it was not vacuumed and breakfast was under supplied for the volume of guests. In retrospect I should have gone to another hotel, the management of this particular hotel was just terrible. read more

The Comfort Suites on the Vestal Parkway is relatively new. My family and I were in town for a few days. I had booked this hotel in advanced through their website.The staff were friendy,efficient and really welcomed their guest. We had 2 queen beds and a sofa pullout in our room. The hotel offers free parking,breakfast and coffee 24 hours. My son did not feel well on our last day and the hotel manager mailed us a personal thank you note and asked how my son was feeling. I would go back to this hotel again the next time I am in town. It is also close to main resturants,shopping centers and my favorite place Friendly's Ice Cream. The University at Suny Binghamton is just up the street. Prices are reasonable.The hotel also has free WI-FI and two computers in the lobby that anyone can use,if you forget to bring your own.
