Giving this place 5 stars to offset Nathan M's unfair low review, he seems to think he can do this so can I.

We got vouchers for free meals for kids first morning we had the Eggs Benedict with their breakfast potatoes which were delicious and they gave me extra hollandaise sauce but it wasn't needed. We ordered pizza from the pub n grub in the water park it was huge and very good, only took 20 minutes too. They have a lot on their food menu in park including adult beverages. The water parkway great, surprised with all the bad reviews, there was always warm towels from the drier for use. Hot tub was huge and plenty of tables and floats for going down the slide and lazey river. Lifeguards seemed attentive and reasonable only blew their whistles when they had to. Water was perfect temperature other parks we have been to it was too cold. No complaints at all with anything. Everyone we dealt with was very kind and helpful, they even offer underground heated parking which was great since we were in the middle of a snow storm. Will for sure go back! only complaint was part of the time there was only 1 working elevator, and our couch could use replacing in the room. Everything A+

We had a very expensive suite, and I did not get my money's worth. The room was dark, fridge was not clean, and I found girls' swim bottoms (2 pair) in one drawer in a dresser and food in the nightstand. Obviously, room had not been properly cleaned. Another recent stay brought constant noise all through the night from the people above us; I called the front desk a few times and nothing was done. Will not stay at the hotel again; water park, probably - hotel, no.

I was there like 5mins. She walked to the room with me and said she didn't smell anything. Then there was dirt on the floor. She made me leave and refunded my money, and she called me white trash and flipped me off on my way out... her name is Heather. I would steer clear of that hotel

But a few days before my arrival in Anoka, I got a strange reminder from Expedia so I called the hotel and spoke with Heather, the concierge. I asked if my room had a shower. She said that none of the rooms in the hotel had a shower. I was stunned. I asked multiple times just to make sure and each time she stated that no rooms had showers. I then said I was 80 years old and had four joint replacements and couldnot sit in a tub without help. She then said that they had a handicapped room, it a room with a tub with a grab bar for $5.00 more per day. I said even that would not help. I then tried to talk to the manager, but Heather was vague about times and days when the manager was there. I asked her to leave a message for him explaining my request for a refund of my late cancellation fee, as it was now after the free cancellation date. I had to find another hotel to stay at, at the last minute. When I arrived in Anoka I looked up the ADA requirements for hotels accommodating disabled people and the MN Council on Disability Rights. I learned that all hotels must have at least one room with a roll-in shower. The next day I went directly to the hotel to talk to Heather about cancelling my late cancellation fee because of false advertising and discrimination. I told her she had told me multiple times that the hotel had no rooms with showers. She then said, to my astonishment, that all the rooms had showers in them (in the tubs). "Everyone knows that." Well, I said, I didn't because this is not what she had insisted when I called her. I then asked if she had a room with a roll-in shower and she said yes, but it wasn't working. I asked how long it had been out of commission and she said a few days. I asked if I could see it. She allowed me to peek in and I did see a roll-in shower but there were boxes stacked up in the doorway as if it were a storeroom. I then said that they were out of compliance because the ADA required at least one room with a working shower for wheel chair folks to roll into a shower. She claimed that I had kept asking for a roll-in shower and I said that I had not asked for a roll-in shower because I had only learned of that term the night before. When I saw she was willing to lie about what I said, I left. But she certainly knew that I needed a room with a shower in the tub and why, yet she made no effort to clarify the confusion or situation, indicating an unwillingness to work with me. At no time was I rude to her. I would even have taken the room with a roll-in shower so as not to have to pay a late cancellation fee of $1073.38. Otherwise why would I have cancelled and go to the trouble to get another hotel room at the last minute? I found Heather's behvior unprofessonal and discriminatory and the hotel itself rather seedy on the outside, with weeds around it. I complained to Expedia.com and am still waiting to hear if I will be refunded my full cancellation fee of $1073.38.

This was gross, but "code browns" happen all the time in pool areas and we wanted to give the staff the benefit of the doubt. The real shocker came when we immediately notified the person at the front desk and no one ever came to clean it. The guy at the front desk told us he'd call the manager but was in no rush to close the hot tub to clean up the feces that was inches from the water. We saw people all night going in and out of the hot tub WHILE IT WAS STILL THERE - no concern for guest safety in the slightest! Sure enough, after hesitantly deciding to stay the night, it was all still there in the pool area the next morning, well over 12 hours since we notified the staff. We talked to multiple staff members that day and the following morning before checking out about possibly getting the cost for the room discounted, or at the very least getting the literal poop cleaned up so we could go swimming. Each time we were told that they would "let the manager know", but aside from that, no one made any effort at all to do anything about it. It wasn't until a very kind blonde staff member (didn't catch her name) heard us while we were getting breakfast the next morning and rushed to get it cleaned. Overall, it was an awful experience. The staff were kind but incredibly unhelpful, no manager was present, they let people sit in the hot tub next to a biohazard all night - there is seemingly no care at all for the safety of guests considering they left excrement out in the open near the water for over 12 hours! Stay far away and go anywhere else.

The general manager has been completely non-responsive, unhelpful, and generally apathetic. When I asked for a simple refund for my two-night stay as compensation for their negligence and my injury, and a refund for my mom's unexpected night stay (she had to drive an hour and stay with my kids while I was in the ER), the manager refused and said reimbursement was part of the insurance claim and I just needed to wait. I have no doubt she has no intention of compensating me in any way. Also, she's the manager - I'm sure she can issue a refund directly! When I reached out to corporate offices, they told me that all claims and refunds go through the the general manager so that avenue also feels useless. The front desk staff were apologetic and did their best, but it's clear their manager is incompetent and doesn't care about the quality of care guests are getting at this hotel. I was informed by staff that she is never even at the hotel and "works from home" - she did not even reply to multiple contact attempts from front desk staff immediately following my injury. It's shocking this person works in the customer service industry. I would not recommend this location to anyone and am hesitant to stay at a Country Inn and Suites again because of how I was treated during this painful experience.
