The phone will ring close to 50 times before it transfers to voicemail. When you leave a voicemail for them to return your call it can be days before you get a response. Once you get through to someone in the office, their help is generally fine. BUT it certainly seems they use the phone and voicemail to avoid work. This has been going on before and since McLeod bought the practice.

When I called to ask about it, I was told this fee is required because they operate as a "doctor's office." Regardless of the reasoning, a fee that isn't disclosed anywhere beforehand shouldn't be a surprise at checkout -- that's a transparency issue, not a legal one. The phone call itself was also disappointing. The receptionist was dismissive, said the owner would call me back, and hung up before I could ask further questions. I will update this review once I hear back from the owner -- as of now, I haven't received that callback. I must point out the massage itself was excellent, but pricing transparency is an absolute must. I'd encourage this business to clearly post all mandatory fees upfront, and to make sure front-desk staff handle billing concerns with basic professionalism. Disappointing experience for what should have been a straightforward, relaxing massage appointment. ETA: Unfortunately, I missed other reviews before booking -- other reviewers have reported unexpected charges appearing on their accounts and described staff attitudes as less than cordial. He told me from the get go with my issues there was no snap of the finger cure but he could make the symptoms I had better. He did way more than that, because of my damaged disc's I'll deal with back issues probably the rest of my life but as of right now I can run, bend, pick my kids up and continue on with my life with no pain and I've only been seeing him for a few months.
