They have provided services to many of our local seniors in their homes and in local senior care living facilities. Carolyn is also an active member of the SF Rotary Club and on several non-profit boards. I hightly recommend Nurses With Heart Home Care!

I cared for an elderly friend of mine who needed 24/7 assistance. I hired Nurses with Heart to…read morecare for her, so I knew she would have someone constantly with her to feed, bathe, clothe, and take care of all her needs. She was in her 90's, and had dementia. Not only was Nurses with Heart there to make sure she lived her best life during her final years, they were there until the end, and I do mean end. I got the call at 3am in the morning that my friend had passed. Not only did the owner of Nurses with Heart meet me there, she let her caregiver go home, and stayed with me until the funeral home assistants arrived. Carolyn Moore the owner, myself, and the two funeral assistants carried my friend down to the stretcher because the elevator to her apartment in the assisted living facility was too small to accomodate the stretcher. No one at the assisted living facility could be found to help. It was quite a journey, believe me from beginning to end, and Carolyn was there all the way. If you are looking for a company that truly cares, has compassion, great caregivers, and does exactly what they say they will do, you will want Nurses with Heart to care for your loved ones. Carolyn and co-owner Alise are fantastic! Santa Fe and Los Alamos are fortunate to have them in their communities.

Professional Home Health Care - Before Jasmine's treatment

For over 3 years now I've had severe deep wounds on my legs due to a colonized staph infection…read moreacquired during a hospital stay. The pain is absolutely mind blowing to the point where I have considered ending it all. My doctor has tried everything to treat my condition and has referred me to many specialists. Although some progress has been made I'm not anywhere near healed. As we all know and have experienced as patients in the health care system after a visit with a provider more often than not we leave feeling like another name and number on a chart hoping that the next prescription or specialist will help. I went from being a middle aged man able to work to now being in a wheelchair. Recently I was referred to Professional Home Healthcare Services. I was assigned a RN named Jasmine who is a wound care specialist. I have had several such nurses in the past but they don't even compare to Jasmine. She is a utterly fantastic nurse. By this I mean that she is truly professional, compassionate, genuinely concerned and caring too. She takes the time to talk to you, educate and offer advice and discuss treatment options. She has done everything possible to protect me from any kind of exposure and cross contamination during her visits with me as she treats my wounds and dresses them. She really loves what she does and it shows. She is the only health care provider that has been able to make significant progress with treating my condition and my wounds are slowly beginning to heal and close to the point now where I am able to stand up and walk short distances with a walker. No body has been able to do that for me! Jasmine has been a God send to me. She takes the time to call me during her time off just to check up on me. When is the last time a provider called you on their on time off just to see if you are ok?? Professional Home Healthcare Services is so lucky to have such a incredible RN and wonderful woman working for them. It's not often that you find a RN provider like Jasmine. Her professionalism, compassion, concern, ability to truly connect with her patients and instill hope in their healing process is remarkable. Her positive attitude and understanding of what I've been through has given me a new outlook and seeing the remarkable improvements in my health and wounds is directly because of her. If you need a RN for your own Healthcare needs I highly recommend that you get a referral to "Professional Home Healthcare Services."

For a nursing service, this is highly irresponsible. People's lives could be at stake. GOOD GRIEF!!!! It's not just the last two days, either. Other times, they say they are sending someone out, and no one shows up. I've had individual nurses who have been great - I think that it's the office. ,

She wasn't…read moregiven comfort meds for three days upon her hospital release, which caused her a lot of suffering and when I called the nurse on night duty he had no solutions for her coughing episode, except to complain that I should be upset she hadn't received meds straight from the hospital. We saw 3 different nurses until we were finally told who would be her regular nurse. She was kind, knowledgeable and attentive, but when my mother became agitated at night and was trying to get out of bed over and over, was a huge fall risk, we asked for stronger anti-anxiety meds, and we did not receive more meds or an increase in dosage until after my mother fell getting out of bed at 1:30am, 4 nights before she died and broke her foot. When my mother died and I reported it, the nurse on call, had his wife nearby and I heard her blurt out a judgmental opinion about why we had waited to report her death (HIPPA violation?!) We were told we would have a team to help- a CNA twice a week, only saw her once in 2.5 weeks; a social worker to help with POA and other legal situations - spoke to one from ABQ on the phone because the one in SF had quit. It had been over a week into the hospice experience by then, and my Mother was no longer competent to sign any paperwork. We saw the Chaplin once, and she never followed up with us again. The hospital bed broke over and over and was replaced once, with the guy at DragonFly being a jerk, telling me we had broken it and arguing with my daughter on the phone about it. After it was all over, I got a call from the bereavement person who said she'd be sending a card, which has never come. Overall very disappointed with this group. It was clear they are short staffed and those doing the work are either new, burned out or not interested in the human connection of their work. I would not recommend them to anyone I care about.
