Or if I needed to come home. Since I was not able to jump on a plane and come home easily, it was a comfort to know when it was necessary to do so and when it wasn't. Having Egis on our side was like having reliable family members to be there with my Mother, when I couldn't. I truly felt she was getting the best professional home care possible from truly caring humans and not just another institution. In my opinion, the company treated our family member as a corpse to make money off, rather than a living human being with a family that cares about them. The company did not address our needs as a client and has sent whoever they found. We had to apply a lot of extra effort to find care takers within the company that would make a good fit for our needs. The management and the owner are difficult to communicate with, and what's worse -- has inappropriately laughed on the phone during a serious conversation over serious matters and urgent concerns. The company has not been helpful in a time of crisis when services were needed most. This has caused an immense level of stress for our family and loved one. That being said, I gave this company two stars because some of the care takers are actually good at their job and attentive to their client. I hope they continue to work in the field of senior care. Overall, however, I would not recommend this company for the price they charge for their services. I highly recommend doing a thorough research when looking for care for your dear loved one.

They have been very flexible and patient with my dad who can be stubborn and needs constant care.
