I feel they did a poor job of assessing my mother's condition and did not send the appropriate level of care for her. The first caregiver was rude and offensive when we spoke and was uncooperative with the assisted living staff. She was so bad, the floor nurse called and ask that they not send her back. I was surprised that Comforcare never called me to discuss that situation. The last caregiver they sent was just useless. I entered my mother's room to find her slouched down & slipping sideways in bed with the caregiver sitting where she could not even see my mother. I had to ask her to help me re-situate my mother. My mother also immediately asked me for water. The caregiver should have been giving her water and not just sitting watching TV. Another one of their caregivers seemed more attentive but was not a CNA as my mother needed. One of the caregivers, Jennifer, was WONDERFUL. Went above and beyond my expectations which is the only reason they get 2 stars instead of just 1.

The caregivers are good people but the people that sit behind their desks at the company are terrible. They suck at schedules and they don't communicate anything to you so you never know what's going on. So many times have they stressed their clients or made them upset because they never communicated or scheduled anything right. No matter how hard you work here they don't compensate you for anything. The staff are petty and act like they're the ones doing all the hard work instead of their caregivers. This office needs to be remodeled before I would ever consider hiring Brightstar to take care of me or any of my loved ones.
