She knew it was us and had everything ready for our stay. This was greatly appreciated since we'd been on the road for 12hrs. The room was very spacious, which was important since we had 2 young adults, 1 teenager, my husband, our dog and myself. We never felt packed like sardines. The refrigerator and microwave were very handy, too, since the boys had leftovers. We had two queen beds and one pullout sofa bed. The restroom and room was spotless. We did take advantage of the free breakfast every day that we were there. It was mainly scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy. They also had the basics like bagels, toast, yogurt, waffle making station, hard boiled eggs, cereal, juice and coffee. The ladies that take care of that station always kept the area nice and clean. Our boys did enjoy the gym and pool (a little on the small side). Parking was always available anytime we returned. I would highly recommend this room to anyone that is staying in Farmington. The location is also close to Downtown Farmington, close to the mall, Walmart and grocery stores.

They generously allowed us to use the lobby and breakfast area as a gathering place for our family. The lobby also has restrooms so we didn't have to go upstairs every time someone needed to go to the bathroom. Our room was lovely and spacious; the bed was very comfortable, the blankets were heavy, and the blackout curtains were awesome. There was a large mini fridge that came in handy for several plates of leftover food and drinks. I was very impressed with the number of electrical outlets that were available in the room; no searching for an outlet or having to rotate electronics. I really enjoyed being able to walk up and down the stairs (we were on the second floor) instead of having to constantly take the elevator. Children in our group enjoyed the indoor pool and ability to walk to Walmart, Target, and McDonalds. A Bank of America ATM is also in the parking lot next door. Sam's Club is very close to the hotel.

I saw a few people struggle to get checked in. The lobby does offer water but it was only lemon water that was offered to refill my water bottle which isn't my fave. There is a mini store by the front desk if you want to purchase candy, snacks, and bottled sodas and water. Room was clean but dated. The walls are thin so there was a night where there was yelling and chaos in the hallway and room next to mine and I couldn't sleep. The elevators are very slow. Breakfast is just okay. I didn't use the pool, but I did see it was packed often with kids when I walked by it. I did use the gym which was great since it had a few treadmills, ellipticals, mat and weights.

I did have my firestick with me and the tv and/or the Marriott menu did NOT support that choice. I spent about 45 minutes trying various configurations. I am tech savvy and it's a definite no go. Full of leaves from last year and tons of cigarette butts and dirt. The pool was out of order. The picnic area was a dog pooping area apparently. Had to ask for housekeeping more than once. Breakfast was inedible because it was cold...... not lukewarm....cold. They poured the eggs out of a bag so they had JUST prepared them. One of our party had sewer water seeping up through the laminate flooring. They did get a different room but 2 nights later they rented it out without any repair...... the maintenance guy said they had to... they were overbooked !! If LaQuinta can let a place get this run down and still open I may never consider LaQuinta again !!!
