I have had a good experience with the doctor but his staff needs to do better. The receptionist is rude and unprofessional. This lady calls me in the middle of work because I'm on the cancelation list and there is an opening. Because I was unable to leave work an hour after she called me to be there she turned into a major bi**h and told me I will no longer be on the list of people to call if there is a cancellation. The whole reason I was on the list in the first place is because the dental assistant messed up my filling and now I have to get a root canal done. I made the appointment and out of no where they called me and rescheduled the appointment another month out because they messed up the first time making it. I wouldn't recommend going here if you have other options. Unfortunately this is the only fit for me and my insurance. Hopefully soon I can get into a dentists office that has a professional staff. Jason Noah was condescending, rude and dismissive of elderly patient. I witnessed a woman in tears after sitting in the waiting room for 90 minutes waiting to be seen. She was in pain and worried she would be late to work and no one even apologized to her. Additionally, Jason Noah, told his patient one thing only to have the front desk staff dismiss his agreement to follow up quickly and would not reschedule for 6 months out leaving a patient in pain and without teeth. Shameful behavior. Unprofessional clinical care management. It seems to be all about $$$ and not quality care. Years ago, I received work from Dr. Noah. My daughter was with me. Why am I wrote grand a review now? Because it is STILL haunting me. He pulled a wisdom tooth even after I told him I was not numb. About 6 ir 7 shots later..no numbing ..and he told me to let him know after he started if it still hurt and I did. He ignored me ..after raising my hand and trying to yell I was in pain several times..makes me wonder how many others went through this. I visited Comfort dental last weekend while on vacation from CA. I had a terrible toothache that sprung up over night and saw Dr. Noah first thing in the morning. The office got me in right away after I called at 7:30 am on a Saturday! Dr Noah was very friendly and knowledgeable. I started going to Cumfort Dental because it felt convenient as it was Only 15 to 20 minutes away. At first everything seemed fine. Until I went in for my second visit. They told me that they were skipping a head steps In my dental plan we had agreed upon. They switched that up without even telling me why and harassing me to pay for the visit. Then after my procedure I noticed a tooth in the back of my mouth that had a filling. Even though I never had a complaint about that tooth. It seemed what was a perfectly good tooth had a filling in it. When I asked why they just ignored me. This person was Jason Noah and his assistant Cydney Graham or Gram. Also after healing and looking at my teeth, I noticed a groove that was drilled into the side of my tooth that was never previously there. I also remember Cydney specifically drilling in to my teeth not sure why an assistant would be doing that kind of work unless she also has a license. Either way I can specifically remember her with a cold look on her face as she pressed down and smoke began to come out of my mouth? Literal smoke as an not mist not water or condense air just SMOKE! I was terrified and traumatized I feared if I moved or did anything I could be severely injured for life. Afterward I complained and asked to speak with them. They scheduled me at 7:30 am and would not even speak to me. They had someone else cover for them and even offer to smooth out the tooth right away. Then when I came In to speak with them they acted as if it was all part of the plan. I have never been treated like a piece of MEAT! worse In my life. People like this are referred to as birds of prey or scorpions of the earth! I hope something is done about these people who call themselves healthcare workers and instead treat people like cattle to be experimented with!! Something must be done. Please help!! read more

My wife got dentures April of 2022, Still can not chew with them, when she complained she was told this is normal. Dr. Noah was very condescending and informed her that he has made thousands of dentures and how many has she made. The temporary ones she couldn't even wear because of the fit, even with adjustments. I love this Comfort Dental West office and all three dentists that I've seen there! The dentist listen to me! I've been going there now for years because they have earned my trust. I have recommended them to my own family including my brother in a wheelchair. When I moved back to G.J. I visited their office on North Ave and there were mostly children patients. I tried another dental office that claimed I needed some high $ painful procedure so I got a second opinion from Comfort Dental West that confirmed my thoughts that procedure wasn't needed, saving me pain! When I did need to have an extraction it did not hurt half as bad as any previous dental extractions. One time in pain I accidently scheduled an emergency appt with their North Ave office but when I showed up to their West office they took me in and fixed the problem anyway! When my dental insurance dropped this office from my PPO list, I dropped that insurance and when I changed insurance company to one that had this office on my PPO list I ended up saving money on my dental insurance as well. read more

My 5-star rating is because, for the first time in 4 years, I've finally found a Doctor, as in overall health and well being. Finding a new dentist I can trust on the western slope was like panning for gold in an abandoned mine. I had tried four other dental clinics, and none of them looked at anything but selling procedures. I was starting to feel like the days of real and competent full practice dentists was gone. They had taken X Rays and completely missed the underlying problem that Dr. Noah recognized immediately. I didn't know what to do, but I got Dr. Noah name from a relative who works at one of the excellent, but unaffordable practices, and indicated that a couple of their former patients had seen Dr. Noah, and then switched over to him. When I went in, I was in a lot of pain and had resigned myself to whatever would make the pain go away the least expensive way. of course very vulnerable. (The recommendation was far more meaningful than the generally negative reviews of Comfort Dental and Dr. Noah so I decided to take the risk). Thank goodness, Dr. Noah is a Doctor, as in medical, who uses his medical skills to diagnose problems beyond tooth decay, root canals, and crowns. Before even talking about dental procedures, he identified the large infectedd abscess under two of my teeth and prescribed an affordable antibiotic, which worked to cure the course of the pain so quickly that I didn't even need to take the pain meds that Dr. Noah had also prescribed. I still have a lot of work to be done, but I can finally have it done under a real doctors supervision, who has proven to be more interested in patient health than just selling procedures. Big relief. I don't have to endure medically related problems, while gradually getting my teeth back into shape. read more

Never again will I use this place. I paid $1250 above and beyond what my 2 insurances paid (and I've got excellent insurance) for mini implants. I paid extra for the upgrade in the mini implants. Boy did I get screwed over! The implants move around, due to the Tech Sam not knowing how to actually make them fit she put more drill holes than a stoned carpenter would. They don't fit my mouth right. When I smile it's completely obvious I have fake teeth because you can see the edge from them sanding them down too much.... I'm sooooooooo pissed that I came here because I used the max lifetime benefits of my insurance and I'm stuck with teeth that aren't even Walmart worthy. They also never put in the 6th post on the top that they LITERALLY pulled right out of my gums. I tried to tell them they were pulling it out. They laughed finally gave me numbing stuff and pulled and lo and behold I was right! They pulled the screw right out of my mouth!!!! A year later and I've now acquired a lisp due to their shitty work. Shame on you Dr. Noah for letting a patient walk out the door like this with your name on it! I would give zero stars if it was an option! BUYER BEWARE! Still waiting for a refund for the 6th screw that never got put back in! I'm also waiting for the over $100 refund on my daughters teeth because they charged us out of pocket when they shouldn't have! Guess it's time for an attorney and another call to my insurance carriers to let them know they paid for something I never received. read more

I have been a long time patient of Dr Holligshead and have had several treatments during my time as his patient. Recently I had 6 crowns placed after years of him recommending it. Both appointments for this treatment were rather lengthy but Dr H took his time and made sure all details were not overlooked with the help of his wonderful staff. Very affordable care, but still decent. I had a chipped tooth, and it was very nicely repaired here, in addition to having two cavities filled. There were a few small issues with both, and they made the necessary adjustments before I left the office. I also took my three year old, since she had a visible cavity between her front two teeth. They did extremely well with her, especially considering that they are not pediatric dentists. They were able to take care of her cavity without giving her any shots - impressive! read more

I only went to this dentist for about 3 months and I could probably write a ten page paper on different issues that I had experienced here. Save your teeth, time and money. Listen to all the other reviews as I wish I would have and DO NOT GO HERE. I'll give a few examples of what happened, the first is I had booked an appointment two months out and three days before they called to cancel, okay that happens I guess but then they scheduled me the next week at 7pm on Black Friday for a root canal. which I thought was strange but I was just hoped they wanted to help me out and get me in as soon as they could. No, they canceled 2 days before and rescheduled me to Jan 9th, 2 months later. Whatever it happens, then right around Christmas they canceled that appointment again and tried to reschedule, at that point I had already giving up as other issues had occurred and just said no I'm not coming back, my dentist work would not be done for another 2 months if I had stayed with them. The second issue I'll go over was I was done with this office after they rescheduled the second time so I wanted to get my records released as a different comfort dental could get me in at a much more reasonable timeframe. I called and ask for my records to be released and they said I needed to come in and sign a paper. I explained I lived two hours away but they said I still needed to go in. I go in the next day and the lady starts off with an attitude just being straight up rude to me. She then says that I don't need to do anything they will just email to me. So I ask if I need to sign and she basically yells at me saying no and they will email them to me by end of day. The next day goes by and I have received nothing from them so I give them a call, same thing happened they say I need to go in and sign to get them released. I would have to say who I talked to this day was much more kind and I did appreciate her and I went in and sign and within the hour it was finally sent to me. Overall, this office is a joke and if you can avoid going to them please do. Do not make the same mistake as me. I wish I would have listened to all these other bad reviews. read more

Since going to Comfort Dental I have seen 3 different dentists (one of whom is Medicaid approved) and all 3 of them have told me Dr. Noah and comfort Dental should have fixed the dentures till I was satisfied and they fit decently. I like Doctor Noah, he's a decent guy most of the time, what I don't like is the staff. The front is rude and spend their time giggling and gossiping. If you have a 2:00 appointment and arrive on time ( even 10 minutes early) with only one other patient in the building I think you would be able to get in within 10-15 minutes, not 45 minutes to a hour. I'm not impressed with this dental office and more so not impressed with their work! Recently I got minor cavities taken care of and fillings put in at Comfort Dental. The dentist kept mansplaning and telling me to take care of them so eventually I did. The assistants did the work and the doctor barely checked on the results. Afterwards the fillings felt weird and I could feel it on the sides of my teeth. Now I regret going through with it because I ended up paying a bigger price for sloppy work. About a week ago, note less than 4 months since the appointment at Comfort Dental, I was eating cherries and then felt immense pain after I bit down on a cherry seed. I went to a different dental office and after X-rays and an exam the doctor told me I fractured my tooth under the filling because it had been overfilled and wasn't stable. On top of that the dentist told me that there was filling that was over filled and on the side of my teeth, which in time will cause excess bleeding and osteoporosis in my jaw. The dentist also pointed out that too much of my tooth was drilled away and drilled too close to my dental nerve, which will only cause more pain and sensitivity in the future. Because of what happened I was told I needed a root canal to repair everything and prevent it from getting infected. Now I find myself in debt and paying for a problem that could have been prevented. Again, I regret going to and getting any work done at Comfort Dental. I recommend you do your research and compare other options before going here. read more

The dentist was nice and respectful. The assistants seemed a bit lazy and in a hurry. I had a cleaning and check up done, I can tell you that she didn't even floss my teeth or check my gums like they are supposed to to see if you need to floss better etc. She even said she never had any training and was hired because of someone she knew that worked there. Yes it's affordable Care, but in this case you really get what you pay for. I had three fillings done and my teeth hurt like crazy now, I think the fillings chipped and I'm going to have to go to a different doc to get them fixed. read more

So upset... My face is in so much pain haven't slept called last night no call back then called this morning and was told... The nerve was hit your going to be in pain for a few day if more then five day please contact us... Take Tylenol and Ibuprofen every four hrs don't exceed recommended dosage... When I try her I have already take 800mg of both to try to get threw the night and nothing... Calling my doctor for help... But that horrible customer care I was fine till all the numbing stuff wore off then pain is so bad pressure in my eye my ear is hurting and when I open my jaw gets ten times worse... Do not use this dental office! I was very happy and had been a patient for over a year. The front office staff was wonderful! Then things feel apart. New office staff came in and things changed. I needed to have paperwork submitted for a deep cleaning. I call and was told it had been done. I scheduled an appointment. The morning of the appointment I was contacted and told "never mind." I was confused, when I finally got to the bottom of the problem I found that the paperwork needed to have the funding approved was never submitted to Medicaid! I had waited six months for nothing! The front secretary seemed not to care at all. I was told I would be contacted by one of the dentists, this never happened. My funding for the year ran out. That was six months ago and I am just getting all of this taken care of as I did not want to even go into their office to release my records. Went to this location for a root canal. The dentist, Dr. Noah, completed the procedure in about a half hour which turned out to not be enough. I was okay for a month then woke up one night in severe pain. I also became sick thereafter. I had to go back, he prescribed some expensive antibiotics as it was apparent that I had an infection in the tooth. He explained that the problem was either that my tooth was cracked or the cavity where the root canal would need to be re-sealed (could this be because the whole thing was rushed through w/o care for detail? hmm...). He told me that if the antibiotics diminished the pain that the problem probably was not a cracked tooth. He had me schedule a follow-up appointment. I bought the medication and towards the end the pain did begin to go away just like he figured it would if the tooth needed re-sealing. During my subsequent appointment I voiced concerns regarding how the procedure had seemed rushed through. He became defensive and accused me of "having a bad attitude". He then refused to treat me further. This has been an altogether horrible experience and I will be taking further action against this dentist. His manner was, in my opinion, unprofessional and I have been fighting infection and have been in pain for months since the root canal was first done. My advice is that consider this: although Comfort Dental is affordable you may not receive the quality of care that you would somewhere else. It is YOUR teeth and you will are the only one who has to live with them for the rest of your life. These McDentists get to go home tonight with full pockets and pain-free and you might end up in pain and regretting going to these guys. Think about it! read more
