Balance billed. Not a good cost estimate. On me for not looking at insurance to verify but recommended likely more than I needed.

I have been a patient pf Dr. Jacobson for several years and have had extensive work done for one…read morereason or another. He and his staff are like family to me now. Ha, ha! Seriously, Dr. Jacobson is extremely gentle, caring, and informative to the nth degree. If you have a fear of dentists, you'll rapidly get over it in this office. My review lists me as from San Francisco. I am a 49ers fan, but I live where Dr. practices, in G. J., CO

Let me start by saying that I am the biggest chicken about going to the Dentist - I hate the shots,…read morethe machines, everything. I have always had dentists that didn't believe me when I said I could feel it, so I dread going to the dentist! The dentist I had before Dr Dave was simply in it for the money - to replace every filling and do everything she could think of to squeeze another procedure out of me and my husband. So I am a skeptic for sure. But Dr Dave has turned me around. He listens, takes extra care to make sure I am comfortable - and he is really good at what he does, and FAST! I want to get out of that chair as quick as possible, and he is so good as well as being fast. He recently discovered a big problem in a cracked tooth I had - he referred me to a specialist. He could have done a crown himself and put the $$ in his pocket, but he said that he didn't believe that would be in my best interests. So he went that extra mile and I am very impressed! The entire office staff is wonderful, caring, and happy - great customer service. He also spent a lot of cash making his office safe because of COVID, from air purifiers in each room, to a state of the art air filtration system for the entire office suite that protects the air in his offices from the others in the building and sanitizes it. Jacobson Family Dental is the best! We are patients for life! I hope he doesn't ever retire!

I Googled and I Yelped and I found the Dental Associates of Grand Junction. With nary a negative review, I gave them a call. It was Ashley who answered the phone and to whom I described my desire for a good teeth cleaning and also that odd pain and she knew exactly what I needed well before I did. We got a cleaning on the books for a month or so out, but Ashley insisted that if I had a bad tooth she could get me in in no time. Which she did. Two days later I was in the office and Dr Scott confirmed I had a cracked tooth (my first in my nearly 40 years) and if we got it taken care of I might be able to avoid a root canal...which, let me tell ya, was a great relief! A referral to an endodontist, confirmation of the crack and, an actually quite lovely, three hours in *the chair* (replete with panoramic views, bird feeders and myriad bird species) to take my tooth down, build a new one in the basement (that's amazing, amiright??), all while I had a chai and watched the birds and the landscape we all love of Grand Junction. So, thanks Ashley, Dr Scott & all of DAGJ, for taking me in, making me well, cleaning my teeth, being fun and pleasant, and offering an ornithological adventure, too :)

Thankfully my boss had my back and recommended this dentist for me. First, he took care of my husband's cracked tooth, an emergency, the same day he called, and was even willing to do the necessary work to fix it before we got the insurance information to them. This had already put him into my good graces, but my treatment is what really put me over the edge from a three into a solid five. I went in for a standard checkup, but before I could get a filling done, they wanted to check my overall dental health. I was glad they did, because they found a cracked filling and a potential failing filling next to it. They scheduled me for a cleaning and a filling replacement back to back later in the week. I informed them of the fact that I metabolize all local anesthesia VERY quickly (I have been known to metabolize lidocaine in under five minutes). He chose to treat me with septocaine, which kept me numb for the entire hour procedure. I nearly cried from sheer joy, as this was the first time I had gone in to have this kind of work on my teeth done with no pain. I hurt now that the novacaine is almost completely worn off, but I'm glad the pain is much more manageable.
