Before coming to JP Dental, I struggled to find a single photo of myself smiling with my teeth. I was ashamed of my smile for so long. But now, you can't find a photo where I'm not smiling. I finally feel confident -- and proud -- to show off my teeth. I traveled from out of state to have my dental work done here, and it was absolutely worth every mile. I went in to get 3 wisdom teeth removed last month. I was extremely nervous (as anyone world) but…read morethey reassured me and responded to my emails quickly (I had came up with more questions in between the time I scheduled the appointment to the day of the surgery) They took great care of me. They let my BF, say with me until the general anesthesia took effect. When I woke up, apparently they told me my after care but I didn't remember anything. Lucky they told my BF. I had to get 2 refills on my pain prescription which I was able to pick up later in the day of them calling the order in. My BF had to come to Nock years ago for his teeth to be pulled town to get braces, and spoke how kind the staff was. Over all, hopefully not, but if I ever had to have oral surgery again I would totally come back to Dr. Nick and his staff.

In dealing with the complicated issue, we had to pay everything up front including a $175.00 consultation fee. Who knows what the actual surgery would've been which was frustrating but to make things worse, the tatted up blond lady working the front desk was extremely rude, acted annoyed, and had a terrible attitude. They made no effort to even try to work with our insurance despite our insurance giving pre-authorization for an out of network provider.

Time after time there was always something wrong with my replacements, wrong color, wrong size. My first lower permanent bridge broke after a few months, as far as my top veneers go, he changed to now going to do crowns instead but again, issue after issue with size, shape, fit and color. Dr. blamed it on his assistants and the lab. I reminded him his name is the business so everything is his responsibility. In January 2025 I terminated my business with him as it is now over four years and they just keep getting it wrong. Dr. Hanson agreed to reimburse me, I paid cash upfront for my services. However, he decided I would have to wait for some other patients insurance payment b4 he would cut me a check. I got it in April only after having to call again and again and show up at his office. The check was written on Feb 27th, he doubled down on poor care in holding my funds so I couldn't pursue another dentist, I am talking over $7K. This story has much more terrible details, I am giving the Readers Digest version. I will be filing a complaint with the medical dentist board. He's a damn quack and doesn't care. Run, run, run!! His staff is nice and try hard, I am sure they are well aware of his incompetence and some of them had compassion for my situation. Worst medical care of my life and I am 68! Oh yes, lets not forget that while working with him for over four years I had a tooth that bothered me, after his xray he informed me I needed a root canal. Ironically, after going to a new competent dentist, who had the xrays from PD, informed me there was no need for root canal, had me look at the xrays also to show what wasn't there. Dr. Hanson obviously has no scruples.

When I first met Dr. Davis, my current dentist was wanting to pull all of my old fillings and replace them at a wonderful cost to me. Dr. Davis not only shot new X-rays, fixed a hole in the filling my previous dentist had just done, and did a full exam deciding on only needing a small number of fillings, he also worked out a payment plan for me for my co-pay. Dr. Davis also worked with me when my wisdom teeth were pulled by referring me out to a great oral surgeon, but also by doing some in office care so I didn't have togo between the offices. His staff is always friendly, and just amazing. Dr. Davis and his staff make you feel at home as they immediately are using your name as soon as you walk in the office and remember small details about your life (remembered I was leaving for law school, the school I was going to and when I was leaving). Also, their response time through their website is amazing! This is the dentist office that truly cares!

I thought once he looked at the damage, we would make an appointment later down the road to make the repair, but Dr Davis asked me if I wanted it fixed immediately. I said yes and within 20 minutes I had a completely repaired veneer on my most visible front tooth. Painless and fast......all my favorite goals when visiting the dentist. Dr. Davis's whole team is the best and keep me wanting more. Next time I'm hoping for a nice root canal or a deep gum cleaning. Can't wait. Maybe I'll start flossing.
