We recently adopted a ten year old, chonky tuxedo cat who, we knew, was in need of at least some dental work. After the great people at Jean Fromm Veterinary Clinic made sure he was healthy enough for sedation, WSDCOS took a good look at him and found lots of problems. So many problems that we were a bit concerned for his well being given his age and health history. In the end, WSDCOS had to remove 15 teeth, which left us quite concerned for his long term well being. Well, that was a month ago and our cat, Bob, is doing amazing! The oral surgery was an unqualified success! It's only now that we can tell how much discomfort Bob was in before his dental work. He's much more playful (even 'kitten-like'), he likes nose rubs (which is new), and he enjoys cheek and chin scratches, which made him pull away before. It's obvious he's now the the healthiest he's been in literally years. Huge THANK YOU to WSDCOS and Jean Fromm Vet Clinic for taking such great care of our Bob. He now has a lot of healthy, and dental pain free, years ahead of him.

Dr. Davis not only shot new X-rays, fixed a hole in the filling my previous dentist had just done, and did a full exam deciding on only needing a small number of fillings, he also worked out a payment plan for me for my co-pay. Dr. Davis also worked with me when my wisdom teeth were pulled by referring me out to a great oral surgeon, but also by doing some in office care so I didn't have togo between the offices. His staff is always friendly, and just amazing. Dr. Davis and his staff make you feel at home as they immediately are using your name as soon as you walk in the office and remember small details about your life (remembered I was leaving for law school, the school I was going to and when I was leaving). Also, their response time through their website is amazing! This is the dentist office that truly cares!

I thought once he looked at the damage, we would make an appointment later down the road to make the repair, but Dr Davis asked me if I wanted it fixed immediately. I said yes and within 20 minutes I had a completely repaired veneer on my most visible front tooth. Painless and fast......all my favorite goals when visiting the dentist. Finding a new dentist I can trust on the western slope was like panning for gold in an abandoned mine. I had tried four other dental clinics, and none of them looked at anything but selling procedures. I was starting to feel like the days of real and competent full practice dentists was gone. They had taken X Rays and completely missed the underlying problem that Dr. Noah recognized immediately. I didn't know what to do, but I got Dr. Noah name from a relative who works at one of the excellent, but unaffordable practices, and indicated that a couple of their former patients had seen Dr. Noah, and then switched over to him. When I went in, I was in a lot of pain and had resigned myself to whatever would make the pain go away the least expensive way. of course very vulnerable. (The recommendation was far more meaningful than the generally negative reviews of Comfort Dental and Dr. Noah so I decided to take the risk). Thank goodness, Dr. Noah is a Doctor, as in medical, who uses his medical skills to diagnose problems beyond tooth decay, root canals, and crowns. Before even talking about dental procedures, he identified the large infectedd abscess under two of my teeth and prescribed an affordable antibiotic, which worked to cure the course of the pain so quickly that I didn't even need to take the pain meds that Dr. Noah had also prescribed. I still have a lot of work to be done, but I can finally have it done under a real doctors supervision, who has proven to be more interested in patient health than just selling procedures. Big relief. I don't have to endure medically related problems, while gradually getting my teeth back into shape.

Time after time there was always something wrong with my replacements, wrong color, wrong size. My first lower permanent bridge broke after a few months, as far as my top veneers go, he changed to now going to do crowns instead but again, issue after issue with size, shape, fit and color. Dr. blamed it on his assistants and the lab. I reminded him his name is the business so everything is his responsibility. In January 2025 I terminated my business with him as it is now over four years and they just keep getting it wrong. Dr. Hanson agreed to reimburse me, I paid cash upfront for my services. However, he decided I would have to wait for some other patients insurance payment b4 he would cut me a check. I got it in April only after having to call again and again and show up at his office. The check was written on Feb 27th, he doubled down on poor care in holding my funds so I couldn't pursue another dentist, I am talking over $7K. This story has much more terrible details, I am giving the Readers Digest version. I will be filing a complaint with the medical dentist board. He's a damn quack and doesn't care. Run, run, run!! His staff is nice and try hard, I am sure they are well aware of his incompetence and some of them had compassion for my situation. Worst medical care of my life and I am 68! Oh yes, lets not forget that while working with him for over four years I had a tooth that bothered me, after his xray he informed me I needed a root canal. Ironically, after going to a new competent dentist, who had the xrays from PD, informed me there was no need for root canal, had me look at the xrays also to show what wasn't there. Thankfully my boss had my back and recommended this dentist for me. First, he took care of my husband's cracked tooth, an emergency, the same day he called, and was even willing to do the necessary work to fix it before we got the insurance information to them. This had already put him into my good graces, but my treatment is what really put me over the edge from a three into a solid five. I went in for a standard checkup, but before I could get a filling done, they wanted to check my overall dental health. I was glad they did, because they found a cracked filling and a potential failing filling next to it. They scheduled me for a cleaning and a filling replacement back to back later in the week. I informed them of the fact that I metabolize all local anesthesia VERY quickly (I have been known to metabolize lidocaine in under five minutes). He chose to treat me with septocaine, which kept me numb for the entire hour procedure. I nearly cried from sheer joy, as this was the first time I had gone in to have this kind of work on my teeth done with no pain. I hurt now that the novacaine is almost completely worn off, but I'm glad the pain is much more manageable.
