My mother needed more then they could offer, although they convinced me she would be taken care of. Having to place my mother in an assisted care facility was very difficult and after the fact I realized they could NOT give what she needed. As a result, this move too Belvedere was a horrible experience! The cleanliness of her and her room was just awful. While I thought this would help me, it actually was a nightmare. I worried about her everyday...I had to be there everyday to make sure she was clean...her bedding was clean...I often cleaned the bathroom myself because it was dirty. I had to beg them to shower her...I was so disappointed in this facility. Their way out...sent her to the hospital for blood work!!! Then would not accept her back! She suffered bruising and injuries that they claimed they could not explain! Upon entering Belvedere... I had to sign a paper stating that I would not record anything in my mother's room!! I would never ever consent to that ever again!! Very disappointed and I feel guilty because I feel I let my mother down! I was her advocate! Anyone who reads this review...consider carefully your options for care giving. My mother has since past away... I can not change this experience but I regret ever letting her stay for the short time she was there!

Mom said the 14 day isolation room upon arrival was really dreary and she felt like she was in a shed. Once in a regular room, she said it was fine. My mom also said the food there was really good; it tasted like homemade. And when there was an issue with the phone line in my mom's room, they walked the cordless down to her so I could speak with her. It may be an older building, but she said it was nice inside.
