They say they have a better package and deal, and have 30 day to change your mind, 4 days later you find the "deal" they gave you is more than the original price, and when I try to change it back to the original that plan is no longer available , seriously? This is by far the friendliest and most customer service oriented Comcast office I have ever been to. We have lived in multiple locations, moved several times and Comcast has always been our service provider. Each time disconnects have been a hassle, connections have been a hassle with one exception the Avon office! I went in for a quote that I never got and just got a bill for $87.62 for never using their service. I just spent 55 minutes of my life on hold and then again on hold for another 15min because I never used their equipment or services. I have never been more unimpressed with an company in my life. Worst customer service ever, and worst programming offering. If you live in the Summit/Eagle County area you will be very limited with comcast. There are hardly any HD channels, and no On-Demand. Comcast WILL charge you the same price that people in the Front Range recieve, and they get twice the programming and options. You need to demand a discount and bring this up. Also, getting someone from Comcast to come to your house takes at least a week. I live in a condo in Eagle-Vail, and Comcast was supposed to have my Cable/Internet turned on. It took them a week to send someone out, and then when he couldnt access the boiler room where the cable box was so he just left. I had to wait another week to have him return, and the 1-5 PM window came and went. No call or anything. So i called comcast and they said they didnt know where he was. Terrible, terrible service and program offering. Cant wait to switch. read more

I'd like to start off this review by letting the reader know that I am an IT professional and am generally very tech savvy. I've had the unfortunate circumstance of dealing with Comcast at this location for several years as my home/work network requires a high speed connection and Comcast is, as far as I can tell, the fastest internet provider in Eagle county. Expect constant slow downs and service outages, worse during the winter season as we get such an influx of people in the area. My latest interaction at this location was horrible and wasted approx. 4 hours of my day. I was in the process of upgrading to a new router/modem unit and was given a router that was registered to someone else! After sitting on hold with their customer service line for over thirty minutes I was told to drive back to their location and they would replace the unit. When I called their location the representative denied giving me this unit, said "there was no way anyone here gave you that box". I couldn't believe my ears because this same person literally handed it to me a few hours before. Honestly if there was any other option in the area I would leave Comcast in the dust ASAP. read more

This service center has always been great to deal with. Recently, our cable box just decided to quit working. I brought the box and remote in, and a few bar code scans, and less that 5 minutes later, I was walking out the door. Super helpful, very efficient. Interactions like this will keep me a customer. Let me suggest dish network or ANYTHING other than Xfinity Comcast. I have spent over 10 hours on the phone trying to get my self install kit to work. I have been stood up TWICE by home tech support. Those appointments were so called "guaranteed" too. I originally picked up my equipment from the Avon office from a marginally helpful individual on July 11. Some of the new equipment did not work. I was shipped a replacment box that also did not work. I spent 3 hours on the phone with tech support in an effort to complete my self install. I was told a tech would be sent to my home on Monday July 20 to resolve the tech issues. No one showed. Several svc calls later (FINALLY got to speak to an American person!!) and was told I'd have a guaranteed appt for Friday July 24. I've killed a day waiting and spent a lot of time on the phone with a crummy call center in Some remote country and still no tech. Now they are telling me too bad maybe next week. So here I sit with cable that doesn't work and Comcast xfinity could really care less about helping to resolve my problem. Unfortunately, when it comes to cable, they are the only game in town. So I'm stuck. But if you have a chance to go satellite or any other service, please try that in lieu of Comcast Xfinity. seriously - a set of rabbit ears would be better than what I'm going through. Shame on you Comcast Xfinity for farming out your call center overseas. It's not only in-American, but it's plain old crummy service. read more

I had heard bad things about Xfinity/Comcast in the past, but I was not prepared for how absolutely terrible their customer service is. I tried to get Internet installed and it took them two months and numerous lengthy phone calls to figure out that the brand new box they gave me was not working. Now they are charging me for the two months I did not have Internet. What's worse, if I refuse to pay, they will cut off my cable, which is paid for by the HOA where I live. This has been a horrible experience all the way around. Every time I called, they had no idea what was going on and I had to explain the problem all over again. Whatever you do, do not use Comcast or Xfinity for anything - you will regret it! read more

We put in the equipment it did not work. We called and it took over a week for the technician to come to tell us the equipment was defective. Very frustrating. Many calls to get a second technician to come out. This happened the second time as well. Equipment defective. I never recieved a bill from comcast, I STARTED TO BE HARRASSED FROM a totally different company who was hired by comcast. After about 5 hours on the phone I found out they were sending the bill to the wrong address. I get calls 3 times a day from comcast, as their bureacracy sent the bill to the wrong address. There is a complete disconnect in comcast and if you have the time to spend hours on the phone, you can't possibly get it straightened out. I WILL USE ANYONE but comcast. read more

This company is terrible. I used to work from home and had business internet with Comcast for work. I moved to a new house and had my service transferred. Little did I know that I had signed a 36 month extension of my contract, not a "transfer agreement" as the salesperson said. Now, even though I have moved on from my previous company, I cannot move on from Comcast business class because of their deceitful business practices. Our telecommunications industry that gives monopolies to companies like Comcast really screw the consumer. The way Comcast operates is nothing short of criminal. They have boldly lied to me about their service plans and costs every time I have contacted them. I have tried numerous times to get fixes made to my account so that the plan/payments would resemble the terms that were initially presented to me. Every contact I've made with them has resulted in more false representations and more unauthorized charges added to my account. After my last session trying to fix their errors they instead issued me a bill for $749!!! No exaggeration!$749 for a plan that's supposed to cost $143! I doubt my case is an isolated incident. It's incredible to me that no regulatory agency has taken action against Comcast for their (best case scenario criminally negligent, more likely willfully criminal) business practices. read more

I called this morning at 9am with a request to have a technician come out to fix our telephone lines. Our phones are dead. I was told that a service tech would be out by 530pm. Well a tech showed up at 345pm but he was here to fix our internet..?? We never called about a problem with internet. So, the tech informs us that he does not have the parts to fix our phone system (he needed a modem) The tech says no worries, someone will be out soon. I meant that to mean today.. Wouldn't you? Not feeling very confident i called in again and customer service department has our issue closed!! Fixed!! Really? Now i am being told that I will have to wait another day for service. What I am really angry about is the tech telling me someone would be here soon when he knew that they really weren't coming at all. read more

We ordered internet service....the first installer who came out to our home was unable to install the service. I went in to the Metcalf office and explained the situation and let them know how disappointed I was. Eric? Dark haired agent listened to me, and expedited a successful and excellent service. While we waited for the second installer to come out we had full access to the hotspot which was more than efficient and helpful while we waited. I would highly recommend Comcast and dealing with this office if you live locally, because they were extremely helpful, and understanding of some of the obstacles we face in our snow filled valley!!
