Gorgeous golf community, spectacular view from the restaurant and dining room upstairs! The menu seemed typical golf club fare, basic, boring but they're catering to the masses so it's not like chicken vindaloo is a good option for the menu. The staff are superb! I can't say enough about the manager, waitresses and how polite and accommodating they are! Truly a wonderful place to eat! I'd just advise that it's a very standard menu. read more

Well, it's time for our 10-year update. We have now moved to #60 on the refund list. Comanche Trace's "Stay and Play" provides rentals for homes in their subdivision. It provides use of the country club's amenities. However, it is clear that they know nothing about providing top notch vacation rentals. There were ants in the kitchen. I called the office and was told, "Yes, we have ants in the office also. I will notify the owners". The golf, which was "discounted" at $84 per person, was rained out after 7 holes. We were offered a refund or a "rain check". However, the person in the golf club had no formal policy/procedure for providing rain checks. Instead, he gave us his business card with the "rain check" written on it, but told us "not to lose it". The ceiling light/fan in the second bedroom did not work. The front, outside lights did not work. Yard maintenance began mowing the yard at 8:15 am, waking everyone up. We were sleeping in, because we were on vacation! I think management should review how other companies, like Vacasa, for example, manage vacation rentals. read more

The food in The Grill is always good, however the Easter Buffet was absolutely the worst I have ever had! Greasy, greasy and all very cold. The plates were dirty with food still on them! The set up was a mess with no logic to it. The ham & prime rib had been sliced and left under the heat lamp for an hour. Really, did the chief take Easter off! read more

Just redid the menu. You'll like this place, especially for the views. Hawks in trees deer on course edges. A great way to see the seasons change and the color of the terrain. Club sandwich is huge. Southwest salad has great dressing. read more

We went for dinner. Spectacular view. Service was very good. Soup was OK. Filet was excellent. Large servings of vegetables and very good. The Pinnacle Grill was noisy. We had originally reserved a table in the smaller adjacent room but there was a private party so we were called and asked if we would move to the main grill. We would have preferred the quieter setting. We will definitely go again and take company there, if we can be seated in the smaller room. read more

We hailed a waiter after 15 minutes and no one had greeted us. We ordered, then 15 minutes later were told they were out of chicken fried steak. Then, they strongly suggested that we leave because there was a large graduation party that demanded their attention...of course we did not have to leave, but "please do expect slow service."
