Went here during business hours, but door was locked. Unsure why the business was not open during the specified hours.

A Staff member operating the USPS desk at this location was unprofessional, extremely rude, unaware…read moreof USPS regulations, and devoid of knowledge when it came to USPS shipping programs. This staff member could very well have broken a glass gift item inside my box when I asked her to weigh my package again and she lifted it up and then dropped it on the scale! It was a glass Valentine's Day gift for my girlfriend who is currently serving her country overseas with the U.S. military! I will never set foot in this establishment or any of their other branches again! Furthermore, I will make sure my immediate family, my extended family, my friends, and their friends know to take any and all of their business elsewhere. This is the cost of treating your customers like filth and keeping rude and unprofessional staff on your payrolls. If you value good customer service and are looking to make a professional and courteous transaction, take your USPS business elsewhere. Take it to your main branch and deal with ACTUAL and professional USPS employees. Columbus Pawn was the lowest bidder on a government contract, AND IT SHOWS. Columbus Pawn would do well to keep it's unprofessional employees in the stockroom.

I wouldn't even give them a star if that was a option. The people who work there are complete…read moredicks. They will give you the absolute lowest price possible even for new stuff. they will tell you on the phone of yeah come on in and then and 9/10 times won't do a single thing for so you'll use your last bit of gas etc getting there. If you needed money I'd recommend robbing a bank way before I ever recommend even pulling in their lot.

Kay Jewelers - The Brand new necklace that she pulled out of the bag! Yep...BROKEN!!! Haha 5th times a charm...?

They said they do not replace chains, they send them off to be re-solulder. Fine. 10 days later I got the chain back. Wore it three more times and then it broke again. Late January. Took it back again, they sent it off ,got it back a second time. I actually did not end up wearing this piece very much in February. Maybe five times. March 13, chain broke AGAIN! Went to my local Kay jewelers store here in Columbus Indiana. The blond lady informed me that it was past its 90 days since he purchased the necklace on December 12th. I explained that he got it for Christmas. Of course they were going to purchase it before December 25. She was a little rude and said that there wasn't much she could do other than me purchase a brand-new chain. I explained that we have had several issues with this certain chain and I believe that it was made with faulty & weak links. She explained to me that he did not purchase the extended warranty so there was nothing she could do. I went to my car, and called the helpline which is their home office. 18005278029. They were extremely helpful. They ended up contacting the store directly and asked what could be done. The same woman that told me absolutely no, then told their call center that they could definitely take care of it. But they don't carry that model in the store anymore since it was a seasonal item, and would have to order it. That's perfectly fine, I just wanted to be taken care of. 10 days later I went to pick up the new necklace, and then the same woman opens the bag that got delivered to her store, IT WAS BROKE!! In the delivery bag !! Haha obviously they have faulty products and do not want to back up their products. Fifth time is a charm, they ordered me a new one I got it 10 days later. If it breaks again, I will buy a new chain for the pendant from another store!! Save yourself a lot of heart ache and trouble, don't go here!

I bought a beautiful ring for my girlfriend's birthday here. We had it repaired twice for lost…read morestones. On the second repair, they deformed one of the bands that holds the diamonds. Shortly after that the bottom of the band broke and we chose to go back and have it replaced with the same ring hoping it was simply a defective ring. Unfortunately not. The ring was just as bad as the first one. Not even a month after we got it the first stone fell out. At this point, I just wanted my money back so that I could go get her a more quality piece of jewelry. They had the nerve to refuse a refund because it was past their refund time frame. I was directed to a hotline to call. I called the hotline that led me to home office. I was told that there was no way they would refund the ring. Poor customer service at it's finest. If someone you have done business with for a long time comes to you with a simple request, you should honor it. It's not going to break your bank. It was $200. Shop here at your own risk. I won't make the mistake again!

The Totem Post - Totem Post - a Nashville, Indiana icon

The Totem Post is, quite simply, a Nashville, Indiana icon. It first opened in 1952 and was one of…read moreonly five shops in town. It is still in the family of founding owners Bill and Marielle Jockey as their daughter now owns it. Open year-round, The Totem Post offers authentic Native American jewelry, crafts, moccasins, knives, ethnic gifts, silver, and copper jewelry. The Totem Post folks are without fail friendly and I'm pleased to report that the shop itself is surprisingly wheelchair friendly (not always true in Nashville). A lot of the items at The Totem Post have a sense of spirituality to them and the times I've visited it has felt like a bit of a respite to even enter the establishment. The store has a bit of a fun origin story. The Jockeys were dancers on the SS. Uruguay who visited family in Indianapolis. During the visit, they were taken to Nashville, Indiana. Not long after, the leathercraft establishment went up for sale - The Jockeys moved forward and bought the place and quickly began establishing themselves among Native American and South American communities so they could carry high quality yet affordable items. While Nashville has certainly grown larger than those five shops from 1952, The Totem Post remains a local favorite and a tourist destination. I seldom, if ever, visit Nashville without a stop here.
