He makes sure you understand everything he has explained in regard to the surgery, making sure you understand the options and what to expect after the surgery. He listens to all of your question's. All of his staff is so helpful, short wait time and always so pleasant to talk to and again willing to answer any questions. I have never know a doctor that will make a personal phone call to your home the same day of your surgery to make sure you doing okay and he will answer your questions if you have any. My vision is great! I cannot believe the improvement! I no longer need my glasses or contacts. Dr. Pankratz is the top of the line in regard to doctors!

At first I was cautious because they don't answer their phone when I called to get an exam. They…read morecalled me back and I scheduled an exam anyway. The exam was through and I went elsewhere to get my glasses made. When I got my glasses I could not see out of them the clerk said that's because they are single vision but I wear a progressive. Not sure why it's not in the prescription that's is the only reason I need glasses is to read. I spent like $98.00 on an exam and I'm out $600.00 in 2 pairs of glasses that I cannot use. Its Friday 5-29-23 I have called multiple times but they don't answer the phone. So I went to Midwest on central in person. The front desk receptionist said they could not get I contact with the doctor but I could come in on Tuesday. I kinda need glasses now. I also said I've been calling but you guys don't answer the phone. She said she noticed the phone is not ringing, what a dummy. Do you think that's why business is slow? Incompetent staff, won't answer their phone or get it fixed, poor customer service, I WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

Came here for an eye exam after realizing it had been prob ten years since I'd seen someone (oops)!…read more Fortunately i've been blessed with good vision so it wasn't urgent. I was able to conveniently make an appointment online with Dr. Elizabeth Newman. I arrived for my appointment and checked in with the friendly receptionist. I waited just a few minutes before I was called back, and a technician had me undergo a series of tests. The most interesting one was a machine that takes a picture of the back of your eye, including the blood vessels. Pretty cool! I was then taken to an exam room where I awaited Dr. Newman. She came in shortly and had me complete a few more tests,explaining what she was looking for as well as the results. I really enjoyed her manner: calm, thorough and professional yet extremely friendly. Fortunately, my vision was better than I had expected and I was then taken to the optical department to pick out a set of readglasses. The technician explained to me there was a promo which included certain frames which were discounted together with the eye exam. I was paying cash for this visit, so that was certainly welcome surprise. She helped me choose a fun style that complemented my hair and face. I was quite impressed by the value of the bundle! She was also kind enough to offer to send the finished glasses to a My Eyedr. office very close to my home so I could pick up and get them adjusted there. All in all, I had excellent service here and at a great value. Highly recommend Dr. Newman's services and this location.

I rarely have to wait to get to see the doctor, and the time spent face-to-face with Dr. Porter is valuable, friendly and time well spent. They have Saturday hours and plenty of staff so you can find a doctor with whom you are comfortable. Nice job, folks!
