I have been coming here for years for my kids cakes. The last two experiences here have left such a bitter taste in my mouth I will not be back. The girl "helping" me was rude and had no idea what she was doing. The girl went as far as to accuse me of yelling at her when I asked her to clarify what she meant by "it's not going to be the birthday cake then it will be something different. And it will be more expensive. Do you still want it!?" Hmmm, I don't think asking "well, what does that mean" is considered raising my voice at someone. She went to get another lady to help me, she turned out to be just as rude. I just bought a 1/2 sheet cake in September shaped like a lobster, I paid $45 for it. This cake is a simple 1/4 sheet cake shaped like a coffin and I was charged $60. When I asked if their prices went up the lady snapped at me and said that's what they always cost, I told her I JUST ordered a larger more detailed cake for $45 and she told me "no". I offered her my acct records showing what I paid and all she said is I was charged the wrong price so it doesn't count.. Over all this was a horrible experience, I would have walked out but my daughter was there wanting her birthday cake ordered so I just told them how unhappy I was and let them know I will be looking for a new bakery. Coming here for years but no more. Quoted me one price at order, then charged much more when I picked it up. Many of the staff are rude. Always way too much icing on the cakes and the colors are always wrong and very dark. read more

Ordered a cake for a special occasion. The decorations were fabulous but the cake itself didn't taste very good. So if you are going for great pictures, this is the place to order from. If you want the cake to be tasty, find somewhere else. read more

The single worst experience I've had in a restaurant in Columbus. We arrived 1 pm on a Monday. We were going to eat in. 2 tables were piled with food and frankly were not acceptable to sit at. No one was busing tables. We waited patiently for 5 minutes and another person walked by and sat at the table. The girl behind the counter disappeared without explanation. She then offered us a tiny table for a party of 4. We asked is we could get food to go. They said yes but it would take a while. The pastries in the past were good but the customer service was terrible. I would fire the entire staff if it were my business. We had planned to use them in the future for cakes, will now not use then and rec others do not as well. read more

Placed a special cookie cake order for my husband but had to call back to cancel the next day because our car was in the shop and had to replace our fridge all in the same week! They insisted on doing the cake for us anyway and made my husband's birthday very special!! When I passed the word on to my friends, I was told that they do special cakes for military wives' birthdays and so much more!! These people are good Christian folks!! We love you!! read more

I have ordered cakes and petit fours several times for different events and they are always delicious and BEAUTIFULLY decorated! I have taken a picture in, emailed pictures and even just told them over the phone what I wanted and they always turn out so amazing. The cakes are not cheap but they are delicious and they put a lot of time into decorating them. When you take that into consideration they are comparably priced to the mediocre cakes that you sometimes get from grocery store chains. Their deli is also great and everything I have had there is delicious as well. The staff is always very nice. read more

Picked up a lunch box special, Chicken Salad on wheat with the pasta salad, DELISH!!!! All the cookies and cakes look good too but I had to pass on those since I can't afford the extra calories. Excellent customer service as well. This will be a frequent stop for me from now on! read more

I called at noon looking for a regular chocolate layer cake. They had one that was cooked and frozen Saturday. I asked the price and was shocked when the lady said 25.00. I asked would it be discounted any due to it sitting in the freezer since Saturday and she said it already was discounted. No way I'm going to pay that for a old frozen cake. read more
