The landscaping is rich and green. One note: Her wedding was an afternoon wedding in April and the outdoor wedding was HOT HOT HOT. The sun was also right in front of our eyes the whole time, meaning we had to squint a lot. The food was excellent (sanitation grade of 99), the staff very pleasant and efficient (continued to keep the food coming hot) ,bathrooms super clean! And the grounds were well manicured - just well kept! Such tranquil scenery to take in on the huge rocking chair front porch or underneath a large tree, sitting under the gazebo by the water or spreading a blanket in the lush green grass. (Owner) & Kyle O., florist at Donovan's Dish. Although the weather was very upsetting & I couldn't get married in her gorgeous rose garden, the reception area was breathtaking thanks to them. It looked like something from a fairy tale. Before seeing it all come together, I was often flustered & stressed from planning it all & let a few things slip. I forgot to do a few things like print a photo for the card box - Melissa was there to take care of it; we were late & were bringing some of the decor, so it was late - Melissa took care of it. I didn't want to have to make anymore decisions the day of so - Melissa & a family friend coordinated everything. So, I felt like I needed to leave just a bit more for any future brides. I was a stress ball & throughout the whole day I must say Melissa really came through. I can only imagine how stressful it must be to host a big lavish wedding, so her carrying the burden of my stress & her own was very appreciated!!! We personally have gay friends but we believe their behavior is a sin. I am a sinner and I believe we should love the sinner and hate the sin. The current law allows gay couples to marry. I think gay couples should respect the beliefs of others just as they want to be respected. " Clearly, they don't want to come right out and say we are not welcome, but they made it clear. Nowhere in my initial email was I disrespectful to them, so I'm not sure whey they felt the need to point out that we needed to respect their beliefs. A simple, "We can not accommodate your request at this time," would have been fine. We were not asking them to officiate our wedding. We were asking them if they would do their jobs as business owners, take our money, host our event, and keep their personal opinions to themselves. How their religious beliefs impact their business I don't really understand. It is really too bad, because as I mentioned, this venue looks absolutely gorgeous. However after the rude and frankly condescending email back, I will be taking my business elsewhere. I suggest those who support marriage equality do not support this highly unprofessional business.

There were two disabled parking spots right by the front door and across the street at a church. We were greeted as we entered and promptly seated in the main area at a corner table. As we entered the dining area there was a young gentleman playing a piano and singing some great songs. Our server, Luigi, arrived and introduced himself. After receiving our water and bread with olive oil and vinaigrette he provided the specials for the day. When he was finished he said there was no need to look at the menu because the specials are delicious. After a few minutes he returned and we went with the specials. Wife chose the shrimp pasta with vodka sauce. I chose the 18oz (estimated) steak and vegetables. Wife also had a glass of red wine that she said was great. When our meals arrived, we were pleased with the presentation. Wife really enjoyed her pasta and wine. The steak was pure excellence and bliss. The first bite had me hooked. It perfectly cooked at medium rare. The flavor and tenderness were perfect. I ate the whole steak and vegetables slowly so I could savor it. The vegetables were very flavorful. At one point I told my wife that I was so happy and I could probably cry. Lol. The atmosphere, the music, the weather, the meal, and my beautiful wife made this a memorable moment. As we finished our meal, we had a conversation with Luigi. He said that he would show us the garden area. He also said to follow them on facebook so we can see the events they host. This weekend was going to be a live band in the garden with the large bar open and you can order pizza as well as from the menu. Once we settled and provided a tip to the talented musician, Luigi took us to the garden area. What an incredible place. We never expected to find anything like this in the small town of Bailey. The place itself is beautifully decorated and very welcoming. The wait staff is professional, friendly and prompt. The food would be acceptable if it were being served at an Olive Garden or Carrabbas but not at a Maggiona's or Farina Neighbor Italian - or Leaning Tree. The Pastas are the same dried noodles you or I buy at the grocery store. They lack that tender texture, rich flavor and sauce-grabbing ability. The sauces are good - but not memorable - not something you would rave about. The only actually bad item I have had here are the Meatballs. I love Meatballs - Italian, Greek, Swedish, Polish, Japanese, Mom's country - they're all go-to comfort food for me. The ones at Leaning Tree were certainly big enough (probably there best value on there menu), with a nice texture, but the flavor was not right. I can't describe it, but they simply did not taste good. I struggled with the right overall rating for Leaning Tree. It finally cane down to the question of whether or not I plan on going back - I do not. Therefore i felt that something below average was called for - but definitely not the lowest.
