If you like leaving the office with rx for a colonoscopy, pap, chest X-ray, hip X-ray and physical therapy (the only one I found relevant) but nothing for pain. If you like calling every few hours to an office that is never open and can speak only to the answering service. If you like receiving a message from the answering service because she does not feel like calling you back personally, and the message being that she can't help you. If all of this, or any of this, sounds appealing? Then you won't mind the three hour ordeal and this is definitely the place and the Dr for you. Deanna Sandor's lack of empathy is matched only by her ineptitude. Dr Kevorkian has a firmer grasp on the practice of medicine.

I'm grateful for that. The facility is clean, and each bed is sanitized between patients as I observed for two hours before my procedure. Staff at check-in are very pleasant and professional. They are following Covid protocol and there is glass between you and the intake when you arrive. Very smooth check-in process. THE AMBULATORY SURGERY: very clean Erika, Naomi, Josephine,Karen, and the OR nurses were really well suited for patient care. Efficient and pleasant, and they take the lead if you want to lighten up with a joke or two. A couple of people recognize me from my previous procedures and we're very encouraging knowing I was in a bit of discomfort. Got walked out to my car to make sure I was getting out safely. I'll be darned if she told me her name and it is slipping my mind, but she was very lovely. I'll be losing Dr.Rangavajjula the New Jersey St. Luke's system. I gave them a few months to try them out since they're close to where I now live. I moved from the suburbs to Queens. I am going back to Northwell and that's a real inconvenience as a person with disabilities, because most of my doctors are far away. First, let me compliment the support staff who are friendly and professional and I had no issues with them whatsoever. The doctors lack basic empathy or understanding of women's health issues, autoimmune disease, mental health issues and any type of chronic illness that involves chronic pain. I suppose they skipped those chapters (or pages?) in medical school. They have the personality of a turnip and don't go beyond cursory questions and answers of basic information with zero interest. Then, they start the myriad of referrals for just about everything, even if you're not having a particular issue that requires a specialist. The mental health screening is a joke. One doctor said "exercise is what we recommend". Sure, everyone SHOULD exercise. I don't need to pay a copay to be told this. That's the standard answer to their mental health screening, and that you should also meditate. Ah, yes, meditation and exercise will surely cure lifelong depression and anxiety caused by trauma. They don't ask about anything personal, so spitballing suggestions to serious issues is unnerving and not in the best interest of the patient. Is this best practices? I think not. Thank goodness I have mental health professionals in place. I cannot imagine how this helps someone who is seeking real help or who doesn't have access or information on how to get help. I was asked three separate times why I was in so much pain. This was after detailing painful inflammatory diseases and a precancerous condition. He took the time to tell me why he diagnosed me the way he did and asked me to call if there were any changes or questions. I called to follow up the following day, after a new development, and he quickly assisted me and was very pleasant, asking me to keep him updated on what was going on.
