There was an older woman in the group who could not keep up and only after I expressed my concern about her did they double back and help her. No kayaking instruction, no nature instruction other than what not to touch under the mangroves. The guide played music and paddled away over and over at a rate that left the novice paddlers far behind. Consider checking skill levels of the group, stopping for regular check-ins, perhaps teaching about nature a bit?

It's the last bait and tackle shop in Dade County before you hit the stretch to the keys. They have a large selection of tackle, including rods and reels along with other necessities such as chum bags, casting nets and more. You're going to find a large selection of frozen bait and a moderate selection of fresh bait, on the fresh side you can expect to find shrimp, pilchards, sardines and at times ballyhoo. Keep in mind if you want something fresh it might not always be available because these type of shops are very dependent on anglers to bring in fresh catch. You can expect to find coolers with beer and other types of alcohol along with refreshments such as water, soda and several different types of chips and candy bars as well. They also have a small section for clothing mainly longsleeve shirts and tees. All around solid stop to grab a few things before your trip to the keys for some fishing.

I was a bit worried that the place would be packed on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. But I was pleasantly surprised that while it was busy, it wasn't overrun. Happy that I found the shoes I was looking for. Had to get a half size larger but better larger than smaller. Lots of staff in the store and at the register so the line moved quick. I am familiar with the brand but have never shopped or purchased any Under Armor products....I have been historically been a Nike Guy...heck I have been bought more adidas products in the past and that was years ago. I came in to see if there was anything I would like and to also find some sneakers for my mother for the upcoming family vacation to DC. The store has a large selection of Under Armor clothing: T-shirt's, jackets and other apparel. It does not have a huge shoe selection....it's like a treasure hunt really. Interestingly though...she did find a pair of women's sneakers in her size that fit perfectly. Either they sell wide women's shoes here or they were wide enough for her feet. Did she end up buying them....no. She wasn't too keen on the design of these particular sneakers but it was good to note we could in the future find shoes that fit her. I also took the time to peruse the men's section and saw a large number of sneakers that I would definitely wear. Check this place out if you ever hit the outlet mall.

When the Mercedes dealership has these, they are $150, and there is no size selection. I had bought a pair in Spain and paid $100. These were ... wait for it... $19. There was a decent selection and they had my size! They also had the Ferrari and BMW Formula-1 driving shoes, and quite the selection of clothes for those two race teams. They only had two sweatshirts for AMG, which didn't interest me. The Ferrari and BMW clothes were literally a fraction of the price the dealerships sell them for. I asked if there was more for AMG and was told no, but, that the Puma outlet at Dolphin Mall probably has more. Super nice folks working at this location, good selection and give-away prices.

We kept trying to join other opportunities, such as the summer camp sessions and as a previous reviewer mentioned within 15 minutes the sessions were full. I finally was able to get one of my kids to attend a summer camp session and she had the best time. You can still be on training wheels, but a lot easier if you teach your kid to ride a bike.) I mean, like 10 miles round trip in a day is nothing. They take care of animals (snakes, tarantulas, bearded dragons, mice...) They hike and explore and take notes. Rain or shine. Your children will sleep fantastically. You really need to check out their site to see the afterschool options. The family outings that are available all year long. Options for Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts and just active kids with parents in the know.
