I've been receiving care at this location for over a year. I've always been greeted by the staff with tender loving care! The staff have always greeted me with smiles and have been so pleasant it just warmed my heart. I have to take a moment to make sure I leave a review to let the center know how much I appreciate their care and pleasant responses. Dr. Jose's team and Dr. Torres's team made sure I was comfortable and relaxed from the time I stepped in the door to scheduling my next appointment. My treatment has always been explained very thoroughly. The practice is extremely beautiful and kind of reminds me of a spa. The doctor's and staff are caring and highly competent. The office is clean, very efficient and reminds me of a spa. I recommend the Little Patuxent location of the Columbia Center for Implants & Periodontics 100%. My insurance needed additional information from the center which was resolved immediately. The staff followed up with me pleasantly and made sure I was informed and received the reference number for my comfort and satisfaction. They have always made me feel like family. Thank you to all of the staff for their Care, Kindness and Smiles! Sincerely, Dawn Brooks

I'm in the middle of my implants. I'm seriously hoping they come out great. I do have some…read morecomments. The office is seriously taking on too many patients. Any time you have an appointment, you will wait 1 hour to 2 hours. The waiting is jammed with people. I feel as though after they got my money, they don't care about me. People in the waiting room grumble about how much they always have to wait and how poorly the office is run. Usually you have five women behind the desk and they all tell you it will be 5 minutes-- it isn't. You'll be waiting a long, long time. There are things they don't tell you. they say it will be 4 to 6 months for implants--- it won't be. More like 8 months. Once you are in the implant process, you won't be seen by a dentist, but a dental assistant. the dentist doesn't have time for you. That doesn't work for me. Dr. Chon needs to be a lot more patient with people. He talks very fast and is arrogant and rude. He is kind of hyper and talks very fast. I wish I would have found another dentist that was kinder and more considerate. I don't feel good about the dental office's practices.

I had multiple fillings done at this office, and both times were disappointing. My first filling…read morecame out after just a year while flossing. I also had to go back because the bite was left uneven, which caused sensitivity and required additional filing (this is what the dentist explained to me). When it was replaced, I had to pay again because they said fillings are temporary, even though I've had fillings elsewhere that lasted 10+ years. The new filling has been sensitive for months, and I cannot chew on that side without sharp pain. Large pieces of food get stuck between my teeth, which is painful and uncomfortable. The way my teeth were filed makes chewing difficult and they look skinny and fang-like. The hygienist there even commented on how sharp they were. I gave them two chances to fix the problem, but now I have to go somewhere else and pay more to get it corrected. I do not trust this office anymore and would strongly caution anyone considering them for fillings.

they send a text message about a week before your appointment to confirm. if you don't respond,…read morethey automatically cancel the appointment and won't let you reschedule. they also charge you for the automatic cancellation. i work in a place that does not allow cell phones, so i didn't respond to the text. i missed the fact that my appointment was cancelled and drove to the office anyway, only to discover the automatic cancellation and charge. so i was charged even though i showed up on time for the appointment. make it make sense. this is such a bonkers policy, i have never seen it before. not only that but when i had a filling, they did not use enough Novocain because i was breastfeeding. according to my pediatrician, novocain is fine, and if i was nervous i could have "pumped and dumped" that milk. instead i was in pain the entire time. they also dropped a LIVE drill into my throat during the procedure. terrifying, the last time i went in for a cleaning, the hygienist scraped so hard i spat blood for the rest of the day. this was despite her saying "it's actually really clean in here! you are doing a great job!" i brush and floss daily. i woke up with a bad cold/cough/fever the morning i was scheduled to have three teeth filled (redos from their shitty work) and my entire mouth numbed. i called to try to cancel and was told i would be charged for cancelling late. this is wild, since i would be exposing everyone in their office to illness. at any rate, looking for a new dentist....

At Dr. Becker's office I am relaxed and comfortable. Dr. Becker is so friendly, gentle and assuring. His assistant Margaret is a pleasure and is extremely attentive. The office itself is clean and organized and they also maintain a very well stocked snack area in the waiting area as well as water/coffee. I don't mind coming to the dentist at all anymore. Thanks guys!

I recently moved to the area and received a flyer in the mail advertising this dentist. I called…read moreand asked if they took my insurance and the response was that they took all insurances. That should have been my clue to move on, but then we wouldn't have this review. I asked to schedule a cleaning and X-rays. They were able to fit me in two and a half weeks later. I received a two pocket folder in the mail with paperwork to fill out. Basically background, insurance, and questionnaires on headaches. Day of the "suppose cleaning", I arrived at the office which was empty except for me, the secretary, the dentist, and a technician. I received a tour of the building and was shown the room where the cleanings took place; however, the dentist hygienist was off on Fridays. At this point I should have left, but I guess I was in shock. I replied that I had scheduled a cleaning and the response was, " Oh the doctor will go over that with you". I was then taken back and had X-rays completed. The doctor came in and for the next hour I went though a series of what I like to call, "the chamber of horrors". At one point they needed an extra set of hands so I assisted in stretching my mouth out for a procedure that I was told the insurance would pay for. At the end of a two hour whatever that was, I was handed their policy. Their policy basically stated that you were responsible for the total bill. Then it was your responsibly to file the claim with your insurance to get reimbursed. Why was this not stated before the services were rendered? I would have not scheduled or left before they could complete any services. Now I am responsible for the $99.00 dollars, which is apparently a great deal. What's a greater deal is billing the insurance correctly where I don't have to pay out of pocket. This is why I have TWO insurance premiums taken out of my check every two weeks. They did say that as a courtesy that they would bill my insurance; however, that was a mess and I will leave it at that. I am not sure where these other great reviews came from, perhaps people needing crowns. I just needed a cleaning and a new primary dentist, this practice is not the one.

I have been going to Dobbin Dental Suite for the past four years. I have had great experiences up…read moreuntil my last few interactions. First let me say that everything up until the last few interactions was just great. I am going to write about my last interaction with Dobbin Dental Suite. I made an appointment for a routine cleaning. I made this appointment in October 2021 and they told me the first opening was in July 2022. I thought that was odd to wait that long but like I said I really liked the office and the dentist. So I waited. When I went to the appointment last week everything seemed normal. They even had me verify my insurance information that nothing had changed etc like always. So when I get in the chair for the cleaning at that point the hygienist tells me that my insurance is no longer accepted. And that my dentist, that I waited 9 months to get this appointment for, isn't there that day. I was like hold on a sec. I thought about it and I decided to respectfully walk out without doing the appointment. So after doing some research the office did take my insurance when I made the appointment. They told me that they stopped taking it and that the email that they sent me about my appointment reminder stated this but I went back and read it and I can't see anywhere that they mentioned that they no longer accepted Delta Dental. So I asked why didn't you mention this when I called in to verify the appointment, or when I came in and you verified my insurance. I didn't get an answer. I was just told that it said it in the email that they sent. But I looked at the email and no mention of not taking Delta Dental any longer and having to pay in full out of pocket. I'm sorry but I feel like I have to put this in writing so that other potential patients out there will see this.

I walk out and go to update my calendar for 9/14 appt and realize I will be out of town for a wedding. Walk back into the office and ask to reschedule and I am told they are booked until March 2027 and I now I have to call when I return from wedding to see if any one has canceled. So as existing patient I am no a stand by patient. I give you plenty of notice that I need to reschedule. May have to find another dental practice.
