Their work seems to be subpar with typos and incorrect dates. They can't find documents that they've created and call you to get copies of them from you. They put delays on closing property because of stuff they seemingly didn't do and they don't tell you until literally a couple hours before the closing. And when you try to find out what's going on in the information, you leave several messages and no one calls you back.

The seller requested that we have a real estate attorney do the legal part so they know it is done properly. I looked up several and called a few. I choose Mr. Neill because of two reasons, 1. He was close to where I lived and 2. He was a cash (check) only attorney. He doesn't deal with bank loans and so on so this worked for us. He had no reviews online or Yelp so I was venturing out and I'm glad I did. I had recently set up to have the land surveyed and stopped in without an appointment to speak to Mr. Neill. He informed me of what to do next and what needed to be accomplished before he really became involved. It was most helpful and I am grateful he took the time to help me. A couple weeks later, I stopped in again to find out there was a couple steps and when those were complete he could set up appointments for the closings. When it was completed, I reached back out to Mr. Neill and it wasn't convenient timing for him, he set up appointments for us around our schedules and we got the closing done. I can't speak towards his other specialties but his a great help and very professional for our needs. I will definitely use him again if I need an attorney.

I was very disappointed with my divorce experience with Cynthia Hatfield. It was extremely…read moredifficult to reach the attorney and when I finally was allowed an appointment time, the first meeting was 3 hours late, the 2nd was a phone conference that was 7.5 hours late. It was equally as difficult getting a reply from her assistant, Lyn Dorsett. One email went 6 weeks before being answered. Other times, I received message that mailbox was full. Documents had to be hand delivered because fax/copier was broken. And then I got 'reprimanded' several times when I asked for assistance. We had 2 mediations, both on Zoom. The first lasted 4.5 hours. I was totally unprepared and my lawyer was even less prepared. I felt like all I did during the mediation was to defend accusations from his lawyer. Cindy did subpoena a document from him and I never received the results. I asked for documents from my husband and when I received them the things I asked for (30 minutes before mediation), most documents were redacted. I did not receive any advice about what I should ask my husband and/or his attorney. I was told by Lyn that I could ask for anything I wanted to ask for and that Cindy was very good. The second mediation was delayed two months and even then, my lawyer spent the first 45 minutes looking through paperwork and crunching/chewing loudly via Zoom. I feel that I was my best and only advocate, not receiving any guidance nor support from my lawyer. Cynthia Hatfield came highly recommended through a friend. My first meeting with Cindy was very positive and I left there with good expectations, but things went downhill for the next (almost) 2 years. Needless to say, I was very unhappy and frustrated with my experience. I got more and better advice from family and friends, even suggesting that I should find another lawyer.
